It is not an exaggeration to say that the Economics course of Delhi University is the best in India in terms of curriculum and vigor.
Internship opportunities are numerous, as some students can work on the grounds for NGOs, while others who want to make profits can work for economic organizations.

Dislikes

The cutoffs were announced after the board results, and all those who were eligible were asked to give an interview.

It's interesting with reading of various scholars and different publications and NEP is adding towards its enhancement with papers such as SEC VAC GE AEC etc helps in the holistic development of the individual

My fulfilling experience at St. Stephens College

Likes

The professors are highly erudite, well read and approachable offering insightful lectures and mandatory tutorial sessions
The college is vibrant being located in the heart of the North Campus with all the major colleges in close proximity.

Dislikes

while this is obviously a good thing under normal circumstances but the competition is cut throat for placements and internships among largely talented students.
The minimum attendance requirement is 65% which can be challenging to maintain with internships and academics

Placement Experience:

There are abundant opportunities for placements and internships throughout college depending on the course. High end MNCs and reputed organizations regularly visit our college for placement drives. For instance one of my batch mates got a placement offer to work for PwD right after graduation and another one got rhodes scholarship for pursuing further education in UK.

Remarks:

The college lived up to my expectations and I really enjoyed my three year stay there. Would not mind going back to academia.
