Bangabasi College, Kolkata Review

Likes

Good infrastructure and helpful attitude of the officials.
The Fees structure which is very affordable for any middle class student.

Dislikes

The campus is too much congested and the nearby roads are very dirty.
Studies could have been better as compared to other colleges.

Campus Life:

The College conducts many cultural programs like Rabindra Jayanti, Basanta Utsav, Independence Day, etc. It also conducts an Anual Sports every year. There is also a Freshers' Party for the newcomers. The College Library houses many books which acts as study material to the students. There are social clubs like Photography Club, Drama Club, etc. are present in the college

Bangabasi college is a really great college to study and also to enjoy college life.

Dislikes

The union rooms of bangabasi college needs a bit of renovation i would say.

Campus Life:

The club activities in bangabasi college is really really good. If you're in a club then also you'll be able to enjoy it's facilities and events and if you're not involved then also you'll be able to enjoy the activities. The singing club specially is responsible for bringing up great singer like K.K, Darshan Raval and many more to the college fest and freshers.

Many of festivals and annual function are organised by the college. The library is well-maintained and clean. All books for our course are available in the college which is need. There are many of clubs in our college

Likes

The teachers support students and give their full attention to student's queries.
The way teacher explains things within the given schedule timing.

Dislikes

There's no regular classes nor any official update on WhatsApp.
They give us tutorials and projects at the eleventh hour

Campus Life:

They held programs like photography exhibition, pujas and freshers party and other social activities like greetings our chief commissioner and cleaning Hooghly river side with our NSS unit . Donating our old winter clothes to the college and then they'll be distributing them among the needy people.

This college has a very good environment
The student union of this college is very good and they're very supportive

Dislikes

The faculty of this college is the worst thing you can see
The teachers or professors are very casual. They are absent most of the time

Campus Life:

Here college life is very simple. The environment here is very beautiful and suitable for studies. Also different events like Blood Donation Camps and Photography Competitions are held here. And college fest is held once a year. Which is the biggest event of the college.

Bangabasi : A good college with decent campus life

Likes

College organizes industrial visits for the students from time to time
Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable

Dislikes

Classrooms are not spacious enough for students
Laboratory are not maintained properly so it can be improved

Campus Life:

The library is significantly large in size and it consists of the sufficient number of books for the students. There are sports like cricket, football etc where students from various departments can participate. These games are conducted from time to time. Cultural fests are conducted each year and it is full of fun.

Likes

Amazing social life,college fests,college campus.
The infrastructure is top notch and lives up to expectations.

Dislikes

The teachers are above average but classes are not regularly scheduled.
While having a playground its far away from college.

Campus Life:

The annual festivities and fests are top notch and its really a spectacle to behold whenever theyre taking place.And keeping up with that is the campus life of the college as its very grandiose fit for a college situated in Kolkata.Also various sports and extra curicular activities are organasied by the college regularly.

Good atmosphere of the college. Teachers age good.
The union is good. They does not force you.

Dislikes

Old classrooms. Need renovation in the college.
Need new table and chairs. Along with new white boards.

Campus Life:

The experience of the campus life is quite good. The annual and technical festival are very less in this campus. There is a big library which provides you books with the library card. The extracurricular activities are quite low in this college but there is an annual sports.

The syllabus are easy to understand . Infrastructure of course is great.
University have their own legacy. Great faculty.

Dislikes

Colleges are not that big. There are no ground area
Question paper is quite hard. You have to face problem if you don't study hard

Annual fests are huge and great. It is so much fun. Library is quite large. You can find necessary books of your course from library. Don't need to worry about that. A large number of books available on library. Classrooms are big and airy. College has union
