Likes

Good infrastructure and helpful attitude of the officials.
The Fees structure which is very affordable for any middle class student.

Dislikes

The campus is too much congested and the nearby roads are very dirty.
Studies could have been better as compared to other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The Total Fee structure for my course, i.e., B.Com (Hons) is ?28500 with an admission fee of ?5840. I am a General category student and the fee structure is applicable for all regarding the caste status. I don't have any information other than my course. Lab fees and Library fees are applicable only if you avail the services. All kinds of Government scholarships and financial aids like Student Credit Card are available.

Bangabasi college is a really great college to study and also to enjoy college life.

Dislikes

The union rooms of bangabasi college needs a bit of renovation i would say.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees of bangabasi college was really affordable as it's a government college too. I didn't took the scholarship so i had to pay 5000rs per year and the students who took the scholarship they i believe used to pay around 1800rs per year. Overall it's affordable in comparison to other colleges.

It's is very affordable fees structure in Bangabasi College 7000rs. And easy to pay many of scholarship are available in this college like akhiyaShri - Swami Vivekananda - Owsis and many more.

Likes

The teachers support students and give their full attention to student's queries.
The way teacher explains things within the given schedule timing.

Dislikes

There's no regular classes nor any official update on WhatsApp.
They give us tutorials and projects at the eleventh hour

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As our college isn't very well known nor it has like alot of good points even though it's charges are quite high than the other well known colleges . Like we've paid an amount of Rs 5780 and on the other Jaipuria college has an amount of Rs 3000 (approx) for the same course that I'm pursuing.

The college provides excellent facilities for practical, ensuring a smooth learning experience.
The college hosts exciting fests 2-3 times a year.

Dislikes

Some areas need improvement, such as broken lights and fans.
The roads leading to the college can be challenging due to cleaniness.

The annual course fee is approximately 7000-8000 inr. Students should check with college administration for the most up-to-date information on fee revisions. There may be additional charges for services like library access, examination fees, and student union fees. College offers several government scholarships such as SVMCM to eligible students. Unfotunately, there are limited campus employment opportunities.

This college has a very good environment
The student union of this college is very good and they're very supportive

Dislikes

The faculty of this college is the worst thing you can see
The teachers or professors are very casual. They are absent most of the time

The fees structure of this course are as below: 1st year: 12000/- rupees 2nd year: 12000/- rupees 3rd year: 12000/- rupees Admission charges: 11000/- rupees The college can arrange some government scholarships like SVMCM and Student credit card facilities.

Bangabasi : A good college with decent campus life

Likes

College organizes industrial visits for the students from time to time
Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable

Dislikes

Classrooms are not spacious enough for students
Laboratory are not maintained properly so it can be improved

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

It is a course of 3 years and each year fees are about 7000 to 8000 in total without including hostel and other external fees. One can also apply for an SVMCM scholarship which can bring about 18000 per year if the student can maintain 60% overall. There are no campus employment opportunities.

Bangabasi College:A review from a student

Likes

Amazing social life,college fests,college campus.
The infrastructure is top notch and lives up to expectations.

Dislikes

The teachers are above average but classes are not regularly scheduled.
While having a playground its far away from college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Tution fees of this college are very negligible as per the standards of all the goverment colleges in West Bengal.in my case i am able to complete my curse from a very renowned institution like our college with just around 50k rupees so its very convenient.And also there is scholarship available for needy students in the name of the official Vivekananda Scholarship from state government.

Likes

Good atmosphere of the college. Teachers age good.
The union is good. They does not force you.

Dislikes

Old classrooms. Need renovation in the college.
Need new table and chairs. Along with new white boards.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The campus provides government aid scholarship to all the elegible students. The campus doesn't give any financial assistance to the students. The campus employment opportunity is quite low in this campus.

The syllabus are easy to understand . Infrastructure of course is great.
University have their own legacy. Great faculty.

Dislikes

Colleges are not that big. There are no ground area
Question paper is quite hard. You have to face problem if you don't study hard

Fees are adorable for all the students.Fees are less than 1 lakh most of the time. There are less opportunity for campus jobs at all . You have to study hard to make a good career. Government scholarships are applicable for this college.
