I choose this college because my college is the number one college known for the course of anthropology under Calcutta University. This is the first college where Anthropology department started under Calcutta University and it has given a number of students who are eligible for being an Anthropologist , archaeologist , professors, and other careers that can be approached by studying BSc Anthropology. My college provides the course of vanderbology during the day and also at the evening time.

Bangabasi Evening College Overview

I applied for 3 colleges 1. Heramba Chandra Bose College 2. City College 3. Bangabasi Evening College I got accepted in every college as I have reservation of SC Admission process is fairly easy you have to fill form and wait for the merit list and if your name is in the merit list just pay your admission fees online and go to the college within a week. Minimum cutoff is low as it gets to 60 percent.

I applied to many colleges but unfortunately didn't got confirmation except Bangabasi Morning College. It may have been due to my marks in Higher Secondary was not that strong. But this college, i.e., Bangabasi is a boon for those students who inspite of being good in studies couldn't score well in Boards. The admission process was really easy i just filled up the college form from the official college page and when the lists came out i saw my name in the first page. The cut off for English honours is 65% and if you're selected then the college will itself call you and tell you the rest of the formalities. Overall it's a easy process.

I've been enlisted in the 3rd list of admission but I was out of station and I missed the admission timing which was from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. And when I got back to Kolkata I've asked some other people regarding how to get admission in bangabashi college as I've missed my admission timing but I'm enlisted They said that I've to an extra amount of total Rs 6000. So overall I've paid an amount of Rs 12000 for this course which was very expensive for this course as well as for me.
