Admission
I applied to many colleges but unfortunately didn't got confirmation except Bangabasi Morning College. It may have been due to my marks in Higher Secondary was not that strong. But this college, i.e., Bangabasi is a boon for those students who inspite of being good in studies couldn't score well in Boards. The admission procedure of this college is conducted through the West Bengal Centralised Admission Portal. All students who have passed the 12th Examinations from any recognized Board within previous 3 years are eligible to apply.
Faculty
The faculty members are very experienced and helpful towards the students. Each general course is divided into 6 semesters of 3 years. The Honours courses are of 4 years with 8 semesters. The semester end exams are carried under the jurisdiction of Calcutta University. For my course,i.e., B.Com(Hons) there are six papers in each Semester. They are Major, Minor, IDC/MDC, SEC, AEC & CVAC. IDC/MDC paper is of 75 marks and the rest are of 100. Out of these 25 marks are from College Internals and the rest from Semester End exams.
