Overall the teaching faculties are very good. The department of sociology and the subject combination with it is very much helpful those who are preparing for civil service examinations as I opt for it.

From the end of second year placement starts in college. But in maximum cases it starts during the first of 3rd year. TCS is the main recruiter in this college as per my knowledge. Other companies also come. Nearly 300000/- is average lpa.

During admission college charged an amount of nearby 6500/- rupees which is very easy to afford. During the form fill up of semester exam only the university of calcutta charged an amount of ?372. And during the admission procedure of every year let's suppose in 2nd year the college will only the admission fees that is 5160/- only. And there is also concession for reserved categories. Many scholarships are also given like Swami Vivekananda scholarship

Excellent co circular activities. Every the student union conducts a fresher's party. It's a very magnificent one. They organise it beautifully. College also conducts NCC and NSS. This helps the students in a broader way.

Earlier I got admission in surendranath college meanwhile I also get admission in bangabasi college. Observing the faculties, college environment for me it's very nice. The admission procedure is so simple that everyone can understand. It's totally hastle free.

The faculties are very supportive and cooperative. Students who are facing financial issues the faculties help them as much as can from there end. The Sociology, english, political science, physics, economics, history these facilities are very good and other facilities are good too.

College also have an well equipped gym. This is Fully equipped with modern gym amenities. A trainer is also there. But it has small campus as it located at the heart of Sealdah. By the way campus is very neat and clean
