Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum influenced me in many ways to choose this course, the wide range of subjects and courses they have and the depth of the subject and the vastness of it is very inspiring and influencing also their sound doctrines with the well knowledgable teachers is also a major plus point. and also it has serampore certification which in itself poses great educational valuation.

Fees and Financial Aid

the yearly fees-around 40,000 with hostel fees and food and tuition also we have admission fees which we have to pay prior-10,000,we also have to pay for the arrears or exams we rewrite, registration fees of 100. scholarships are provided but will have to do manual help for 1 hour a day, library is compulsary, chapel is compulsary, and the fine for missing chapel a day is 100 and the fine for missing library is 100other batches also pay around 40000-48000 a day

Campus Life

4

The campus life here in serampore is great and awesome as we have wonderful college ecosystem, we have various festivals and culturals a lot of icebreaking seminars and resource meetings, we have around 40000 books in our library and its evergrowing it has many old books which are considered treasures and also we have smart classes where teachers can always impart their knowledge in a hybrid setting, using the smart screen or the green board it has all facilities, we have extracurricular activities which ranges from dance, music and literary arts like poems, stories, novels, songwriting and many more, also we have facilities for playing also, the sports is considered important for the student to train our body and keep it healthy and relax our minds.

Admission

The major reason i chose this college is because of its legacy and its wide influence on theology, it is the one and only university which provides Bachelors in divinity. also the course ranges from a very deep background, this university is well known in training multiple theoligians and missionaries and its evaluation is very high , it is highly respected all over the world among theoligians.

Faculty

4

the faculty to student ratio is less, and because of which personal attention can be given to each and every student also the proffessors are all very approachable, down to earth and can be relied on anytime there is only one major exam during the semester.

Night Life

4

The nightlife in our campus is very lively as we have chapel sessions which involves music and singing and also we have time for sharing experiences and thoughts which builds our experience, we have freedom to go and get food and drink tea, coffee, juices and go for walks with in the campus, we also have a garden with pond and tress surrounding it the pond has fishes, sometimes we dont realise the time running watching the fishes swim, well we have curfew after 10.30, so after 10.30 we are supposed to get inside our hostel otherwise we have a lot of freedom, we can use the library till 10, we get free wifi also, well my favourite hangout place is the terrace which has an incredible view of nature where we can turn our mornings to nights.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
