About Senate of Serampore College (University)
Senate of Serampore College was set up in the year 1818 by the pioneer of Christian missionaries. It aims at providing education in sciences and arts to students of every caste, color, or country. The admission process was in merit basis. The cut off for the department of theology was 75 this year with compulsory Bengali, History,Political Science, Education in 10+2 exams. The whole process of admission was done through college website.

I find the application from the college website for economics honours there is a cut off 60% . Now admission process is very smooth they developed their websites server .per semester fees was pocket friendly so that every body can effort it

The admission process at college involved submitting an online application including academic records and personal documents i took college entrance exam and the cut off was competitive but fair but the overall process was efficient.

There is one written test that has three sessions, English, General knowledge & aptitude, and Bible knowledge. Once we clear that exam we will have an interview in the interview some faculty from different backgrounds will be present and they will ask questions like, why you want to come to bible college, your testimony, financial support, church background, and questions from "discovery of India" book.
Admission:
You are applicable for this course if you passed your 12th exam with 60%. For this course, if an applicant wants to get an application form then he may use our college's official, and then anyone can apply online for admission. I entered this college with zero application fees because they provided the application form free for all the students. Finally, I got admission on 2 September 2020. Cutoff for applicants for this stream is above 60% from any board in the 12th examination.

Eligibility for this course is 12th pass from any recognized board. Anyone can find the college application form in college website. There is reservation of seats for sc, st ,obc and other backyard classes.

The course curriculum was totally religious. We learnt many aspects and stories. Our teachers taught us through visual representations. The teachers were quite sophisticated yet, polite and friendly.

Overall during a year, three test weeks are held. The course is divided into groups, and each subject features a separate teacher who is an expert therein field of mathematics. There's not much specialize in research within the first year, but the teachers inspire imagining outside the box and returning up with innovative ideas.

The course is biblical, there are 2 semesters each has around 6 subjects in the final year there will be a choice for thesis. The teachers are very informative, updated and quirky as they teach with open mindedness.
