I like the college library very much it has many book

Our Darjeeling government college has the best course and value of the course that people come from abroad also to study and teachers are strict for the classes. The college offers all type of course for the student to study

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 700 per year

Internships Opportunities

They provide internship for many students who are going to be graduate from the college or university there are many opportunity of going aboard and working around or working in your country which provides us for the successful person and it will makes your life and carrier

Fees and Financial Aid

This year I have to pay total of 1400 admission fees and including exam fees 1500 of two paper. Tution fees of 1000 monthly along with that we have to travel with car each day it cost 60 rs. I have filled the scholarship from but i didn't received anything

Campus Life

The campus life is good enough for sitting , studying and playing and many others activities we have college union club, National cadet crops, and National service scheme which leads us to improvement to the students

Admission

I have applied for only one college Darjeeling government college for the value of the graduation certificate and it is the best college in Darjeeling to study you will get many facilities of courses and other activities

Faculty

The faculties are good enough The faculties i like the most is Amupama maam and sagrika maam There are two exam in a year and two internal exam also and a monthly test which provides us to acknowledge the text or what teacher has teached us earlier.

Interview Experience

The was no test or any other things for the admission there was base on your high school class 12 percentage who has higher percentage they will get the admission and based on percentage we get the admission and the names will comes out in merit list who have been selected

Night Life

In night time it looks very beautiful with the light in the dark with the shining star and moon the area is safe and secure to walk around the road of the college the college have gym also which open in the morning and night time till 8 O clock. There are many hangout place near the famous one is chourasta

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Government College are cheaper than private so I choose government college and we get scholarship. No I was not rejected.ST people will get seat faster than OBC . The person scoring good percentage is taken in . General having good percentage still won't be able to get as the seat are taken by ST OBC . The exams are not hard but also not too easy....Read More
