Memorable college days ??

Likes

I really like the environment of our college .
And the brilliant and talented professors with phed
And the friendly nature of the people in the college

Dislikes

The unavailability of the boys hostel in our college .
No bigger playground to play ...as there is only volleyball court to play .
The toilet facilities are not poorly managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked geography as a subject for learning and exploring as it includes fieldwork , surveys and excursion which enhances our mind and experience in our life and this way we have many opportunities to learn new things in our life which is helpful for our future purposes. The only improvements I would like to note that to improve the toilet facilities and placement opportunities.

I like ata environment of this college , I like the beauty of Darjeeling and also this college
My department is microbiology this department teachers are good
This college is absolutely ragging free college

Dislikes

College don't have a boys hostel on the other hand college has 4 girls hostel
Our department was too small, we have only 2 professor and 1 sact teacher. The all are lady teacher
College's bathroom was worst ever I seen , other department's teachers are not coming college properly. Here's teachers are too much irresponsible mainly arts department and also physics and chemistry department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think college have lots of improvements in all of things and course curriculum. The timing of exams is oky teacher are properly guards on examination hall College have B NAAC grade. College ha no principal.

Likes

All the teachers being so polite and frankly
Study material very clearly provided and easy to learn
Advanced technology used in labs and clean

Dislikes

Teachers Not following the time tableproperly
No proper instruction instructed during labs
Classrooms are not very clean and hygienic

Course Curriculum Overview:

Institution faculty being so friendly with every and each students.. Specially the proper maintenance of the lab makes me more confident in the course I choose... Exams timing should be a little early as it's very cold during winters

I like the college library very much it has many book
The campus life with friends is full of enjoyment
I like the teachers how they teach and treat us very well

Dislikes

I don't like the toilet it must need to be improved
I don't like when teacher doesn't comes to class section to teach there is no timing
Most important the college need some improvement in the classroom

Our Darjeeling government college has the best course and value of the course that people come from abroad also to study and teachers are strict for the classes. The college offers all type of course for the student to study

I like it structure it was similar to palace, it's colour was blue which was attractive,its floor was made of wood which was cool overall the outer structure was good
I used to sit near the window as the scenery looked beautiful from the top ,the mountain and the clouds changing the shapes and sky changing its colour
Library was pretty good, canteen food was cheap though it was not tasty,our college gardens looks decent then the classes

Dislikes

The wrost thing was washroom was so unhygienic and used to sting the core ,there was no maintenance of water,no dustbin, overall there was no cleaness
The mathematics department used to look like hunted house with no maintenance at all the doors were creaky and shagging the window were broken.
The canteen was so small,the classroom were very dusty,the playground was good though it was not very big. Coming to teacher they were well qualified but we were not able to catch them properly they used to rush ,and hurry to complete the syllabus

We were never informed by the teachers about such activities and all If there was semester based then only we used to know but couldn't attain due to classes The washroom need to be improved and the canteen and mathematics department too The timing for exams was good The teachers was not mostly available during the course

Viewing from my perspective

Likes

I liked how the ground is big and the sun comes at ground.
I like how it is close to road so it's easy for delivery.
I like how the structure of college is made .

Dislikes

Toilet is not good both men and women toilet.
The lab has equipment but is not usable and it is broken .
Some teacher does not teach properly and just sit in office .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as a curiosity but I got fond of it. For real world it will give some lessons like preparation beforehand, anxiety and depression for character development which is very good for reality check. The teachers should be able to teach us not just teach themselves. Equipment should be useful, chemical that are not used are stored. They should keep a staff for that and not the students as the students have Little knowledge and little knowledge is dangerous than having no knowledge. Easy to pass hard to get good percentage.

Likes

College is right beside the main road so transport facility is good.
College has it's own library where you can study and spend your time in peace without any disturbance.
Faculty members are polite and ready to help and very knowledgeable.

Dislikes

The classes are jam packed as they are way too many students to fit in small classrooms. Especially my department.

I am enrolled in Ba philosophy and I actually didn't know what was this course about but I was interested to know what was there to learn so I took this course plus I was not so interested in studying other BA courses thus I chose philosophy.

Likes

Teachers are very good, supportive,they give us life lessons along with good knowledge about the outer world.
Other faculty members support, many cultural programs happens from that we can learn many things about different cultures
Geography department is well maintained , lab is well maintained and instruments are available

Dislikes

Washroom is not well maintained, they remain always unhygienic and water is not available
Boys hostel are not available and some girls hostel are not good
College infrastructure is very poor for some department

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was wondering how mountains formed and other geographical phenomenon that's why i took geography to learn more. This subject is realistic subject which deals with different aspects of environment . Geography should be include math as a compulsory subject because without proper knowledge of math it is difficult to learn about different things.

Likes

The campus was very good and it was clean. The college was located in the midst of hills so it looked very pretty
The teachers/professors were pretty friendly
All the labs seemed to be very nice and clean

I chose the course because I wanted to try being a lab technician in the future. The course is pretty difficult and pretty easy at the same time. It gives me various kind of knowledge which is needed for the day to day life.

I experienced a lot of things in my college
Playing volleyball was one of the best thing in my college
We should focus in our studies too otherwise there’s a chance of repeating…

Dislikes

Friends is the most disgusting circle that you shouldn’t get involved
Teachers not getting strict to their students are one of my disliking thing
Lastly we shouldn’t get involved in games activities more than studies
