- College don't have a boys hostel on the other hand college has 4 girls hostel
- Our department was too small, we have only 2 professor and 1 sact teacher. The all are lady teacher
- College's bathroom was worst ever I seen , other department's teachers are not coming college properly. Here's teachers are too much irresponsible mainly arts department and also physics and chemistry department.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think college have lots of improvements in all of things and course curriculum. The timing of exams is oky teacher are properly guards on examination hall College have B NAAC grade. College ha no principal.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee is 7105 and the admission is 1435. I already paid 1030 for 1st semester examination. And I have a OBC certificate. I have Akyashree scholarship. I already form fill up for this . The scholarship amount is 18000
Campus Life
Darjeeling government college was situated a nice place. It was situated on Darjeeling. Here's environment was awesome. College was looking beautiful. But college was not good as much other NBU's college , like Siliguri college. College's teachers are not responsible. They are irresponsible. For this reason college's NAAC grade was decreased bye B+ to B .
Admission
I don't choose this college. I was choosen by new system of admission in college. I want to admit in ABN seal college in coochbehar, near my home . ABN seal college was fare better than DGC . I don't like the new admission policy. And we are the first batch to admit by this rule .
Faculty
College have lots of students. Bengali department has total 3 or 4 teacher for 5.. to 7 students. Maximum arts department's condition was same like Bengali department except English department. Our microbiology department has 3 sem 60+ student and their are only to professor and 1 sact teacher. But the department of botany and zoology has perfect ratio of students and teachers. But also they don't classes sincerely.
Night Life
College have a gym . But gym's condition was very bad . For this reason students are not going to gym . College's library was too good . The public are was good near the college. Boys are staying PG. And also rental houses . Girls have 4 girls hostel. But boy's have 0 hostel We boys are demanding to hostels .
