JGEC B.Tech {Lateral} Civil Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The civil engineering department at the college boasts highly experienced faculty who excel in both theoretical and practical areas, enhancing students' understanding of complex concepts. During the 7th semester of their final year, eligible students can participate in campus placements. A range of IT and core companies visit each year, offering job packages that average between 4 to 7 LPA, with the highest reaching 25 LPA in the CSE department.

Over 70% of students successfully secure placements. However, the college provides limited internship opportunities, prompting students to seek internships independently, often finding valuable positions through alumni networking. To assist economically disadvantaged students, the college offers numerous scholarships, including contributions from alumni, which serve as significant motivation for academic success. The Vivekananda Scholarship is also available to support students financially throughout their education.
