I would rate my course as moderately comprehensive and relevant for me. The curriculum influenced my decision as I got a core knowledge of my subjects and also I got integration of computer science with my subjects. Theo college prepares us for the real world applications and trains us as per the industry requirements so that we can outshine in the indusrty and can be better than others. Something that can be improved is more application based learning to make us more better, they can provide us more industry exposure and can keep us updating with the technologies.

I really like business and management so i want to study more about it so thats why i chose this course. BBE prepares you for real life business analysis and many more things. DU takes exams of all colleges at same time.
The 3rd year students are eligibke for internship at niti aayog but for that they need to maintain a decent cgpa Students of all semester are eligible to do vice chancellor internship once in there entire college journey There is a disparity between internship and placement offered to bcom and ba students

I am a botany student in my view the course is very nice although sometimes seems to be boring but we can relate to our environment and know more about plant world.like we can identify what plant is this how we can grow it the suitable climate and region for it. One can also become a scientist my knowing the nomenclature and naming a plant.

To be very honest lower your expectations from bcom program, yeah honours is good but bcom(p) is not it. You can choose better than this and invest in a better place.

I chose this subject because I wanted to be a researcher since quite long amd chemistry suites best for that . This field is mot that crowded or hyped but definitely builts a good future career . The teaching methods vary from teacher to teacher . Sone teachers ate excellent in explaining the topics but some teachers lack in conveying their knowledge although the notes provided by all the teachers are very useful. The exams can be taken twice a sem as it will help us to prepare half the syllabus beforehand instead of all the syllabus all at one and it will also initiate regularity in studies.

Students at Shivaji College become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Companies like Deloitte, EY, Wipro, and TCS visit, offering roles in finance, IT, and consulting. The highest package is around INR 10 LPA, with an average of INR 3-5 LPA. About 60-70% of students secure placements. Post-degree, I plan to pursue higher studies or seek opportunities in the corporate sector, leveraging the skills and knowledge gained during my course.

In the geography course there were hardly any placements and internships, students had to opt for other internships that were available in the placement cell of the college. As per my views there should be internships for geography too as there are many career options in it and students don't even get to know about it due to lack of placements and opportunities.
