Some faculties are very experienced they teach us very well, here labs are in good condition you can do practical demonstration easily.
Uit rgpv provides excellent placement opportunities to students, with a good track record of successful placements in top companies.
Uit rgpv is good in fee as very low about 23000 and scholarship is also given to the students who are eligible for the scholarship and jobs opportunities are also more in this college with good package

Dislikes

The placement is not too good, but there are many companies that offer you decent packages the placement are not that good because maximum companies are mass recruiter but you can go off-campus placement.
The college hostel has a very low occupancy there are no bed for everyone
There is a hostel on our college campus which provides a bad facility there is a mess for students there is a library for the students for style study there is a parking facility there is a canteen also.

The truth of UIT RGPV BHOPAL

Likes

I like the campus life of college as our campus is big and very good
The social life and interaction with people is very good which makes good network with people
The infrastructure of college is also good as good campus amenities is provided

Dislikes

I dislike some facilities behaviour towards students as they do partiality with students
No sport activities held in college as no sports event were organised
There is no intership opportunities is provided by the institution and no any guidance, if students want to do internship they have to find it by themselves

In this college multiple companies are visited, the students are eligible from 6th semester for the campus placement The highest package offered in this year is 12 lacks per annum by Bajaj Finserv There are 80 percent students who got placement and rest are preparing for government competitive exams

Very much affordable and flexible.

Likes

One of the best thing is it's huge library and Knowledge resource centre. Our college provide library for every student and it's really huge. KRC provide different rooms for planning and the most important is the KRC lab .
Other this I like about my college pr specifically my branch is it's flexibility for attendance. Attendance is compulsory but not that strict , if you want to do something else you can do it then.
The campus is huge, you can explore it. Also we have a pahadi also where most of the classes and students go to enjoy or fir a good view.

Dislikes

One thing I dislike is the student politics that's been increasing in college.
Other thing , it's the maintenance. I think college should use the fund more strategically and can do much more good things and plan different fests more.
Please promote sports more. Football ground se have is not in a good condition pr you can say it's not for football. Also if you have sports complex then please let students you it .

Placement Experience:

Placement is ok ok here. But yeah this year 2024 there were many students who got placed with good packages. Around 10 students got placed with 12 lac/ annum and others also get many packages of 4 to 5 lac or 8 lac.

UIT-RGPV: THE OVERHYPED COLLEGE

Likes

The vast campus of more than 250 acres having the beautiful library in it
The bus facility for all the students living in the bhopal at any corner of the city
The cultural fest PARVAAH which is organised by the student of RGPV

Dislikes

75% attendance policy which does not allow students to think out of box
The curriculum based on only the theoretical approaches not on the practical approach
Having very least chances for the other curriculum activities

As I am from electrical brand my academic curriculum is just based on the old and traditional method as they does not focus on how to implement it they only tell us what is the concept. And the difficulty level of exam is average but the difficulty level of exam does not match to their teaching level

Campus is lush green with beautiful environment
Fees is very much affordable and even after self funded university
Hostel accommodation is quite high and hostels are in good condition

Dislikes

Lab condition are bad....lack of equipments
Maintenance is very rare....and things takes too much time
Lack of teachers and facilities.... minimum and only needed facilities are there

After 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements Companies like amazon , tcs, cognizant visit and high packages are less bt there are very many students who get placed with lower packages ..

The first thing which impressed me the most was the library resources and study materials available over their.
Faculty is very good at teaching apart from this they very helpful to us they helps us in other activities as well as study.
We have very scenic and beautiful lush green college campus. At evening the sunset looks very good from our college.

Dislikes

The college is so large that we have to travel on our foot which causes it hard to go from one department to another.
The library is not available for 24×7 hours.
Sports complex is most of the time closed.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is okay. There are many companies offering jobs like TCS , Infosys and many more. Last year a senior from our college got placed in Google for a package of 54 lpa (off-campus)

Everything is well classes are also fine with all the facilities like lights fans and tables chairs and bathroom water cooler and all their are various departments here
Faculty is well on time to attend classes and provide best classes there are various labs and lab equipment and daily lab classes all the practical is done on time
All the campus is surrounded with greenery and have various departments and play grounds and sports complex for functions. Different events had thrown throughout

Dislikes

Their is nothing wrong here everything is well maintained
Just take bit time to make cards and scolorship
Not at the peak location of Bhopal it’s in outer area

UIT RGPV: A Comprehensive Review of Campus Life

Likes

The most important thing of this college is it's affordability. Everyone can afford it if they can't get any scholarship.
Secondly it's campus, I like the campus and it's environment very much. It attracts so much you love it when you come here.
This college is located in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh that's why you get more exposure from other city's college.

Dislikes

The main thing of this college which I dislike is it's management. It should be more better which makes this college best in the whole State.
Secondly, the college need to set a proper dress code for students. In this college there is no any dress code that is something not good.

The exposure of placement is 50-50 . If you have capability and skills you get placed. There are not much but good number of companies come here and take students after their different hiring process. They select students. Mostly IT companies come in very good number and most of the IT students placed here in such a good companies. So you can say that 50% of the students get placed in this college every year.

My college have some of the amazing faculties.
My college have some amazing seniors who have high achievements.
My college have some of the good ratio of boys and girls such as it is 3 is to 1.

Dislikes

My college gives a very little exposure.
My college gives a very little support in intership programs.
My college does not welcome very good companies.

See here things get a little tricky, about placements, our information (which could be fabricated) are that this college offers median package of 6 lakh. But I have no plans of getting campus placements. I want to give GATE exam so I can complete my dream of entering IIT.

There is full freedom to move outside the college at any time
Mess food is good in girls hostel compare to boys.
There are 4 hostel. 1 girl hostel and 3 boys hostel.

Dislikes

There is no canteen in whole campus and not as food stalls except mess.
Some faculties are so rude they don't reply in once to the students.
They don't bring companies for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical branch is good compare to petrochemical and automobile.there are regular classes for our branch and the subjects are too intresting in mechanical and some teachers are really good of mechanical engineering.

UIT RGPV Bhopal have highly qualified faculty members most of them being PhD holders from institutes like IITs and NITs. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidiyalaya (RGPV).

Petrochemical Engineering is a 4 year full time course. It deals with the study of petroleum, natural gases and crude oils, their production and concentration. It is a specialized branch of Chemical Engineering.
