What Students Say

Likes

The vast campus of more than 250 acres having the beautiful library in it
The bus facility for all the students living in the bhopal at any corner of the city
The cultural fest PARVAAH which is organised by the student of RGPV

Dislikes

75% attendance policy which does not allow students to think out of box
The curriculum based on only the theoretical approaches not on the practical approach
Having very least chances for the other curriculum activities

Course Curriculum Overview

As I am from electrical brand my academic curriculum is just based on the old and traditional method as they does not focus on how to implement it they only tell us what is the concept. And the difficulty level of exam is average but the difficulty level of exam does not match to their teaching level

Class Size: 79Course Fees: INR 5300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As general fees for the student is around 3000 thousand for the student who get alloted there seat category as unreserved but I am obc student of Madhya Pradesh and belong to lower middle class family I get fee concession and I have to pay only 5300

Campus Life

The infrastructure in not good as the old building in not renovated for years and the exposure in not upto the marks as college is outside the main city .But students are literally enthusiastic so they start making there club so they can look over there personal development

Admission

I take admission in this college through the MP DTE process and in preference list I want take admission in JEC jabalpur in mechanical branch but as my jee rank is very low I am not able to take admission in that college. As comprise I take admission in RGPV but I am satisfied with this college and I also want to prepare for the GATE exam so this college will be best

Faculty

The faculty is overall average as they are giving their best to teach us but as the college is not recruiting more new teachers so they are teaching with the old and traditional method.There are three mid sem per semester and having one end semester exam and each mid sem is of 30 marks

Night Life

The nighlife is quite good as we have pahadi in our campus in which generally with my squad I used to track with my buddies and college campus also have mandir and cafe which is 24×7 available for the students and this is tha positive point for any hosteller

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Placement Experience:

For internship from college students are applicable after 3rd year and on 7th semester they are applying for placements. UIY RGPV - A take or leave situation

Admission process follows standard procedure of giving JEE after 12th class and clearing JEE mains. Each department has its cutoff which usually ranges from 100 to 180 narks in jee. With having a minimum percentage of 60? in 12th class.
