Likes

The teacher and the teaching methods , including both staff and non staff members , they are very helpful and kind towards everyone.
The environment of the college is very good for the students to study , and explore more .

Dislikes

Washroom of the college remain dirty sometimes, and sometimes there’s no water
There’s is lack of classroom , as compared to the size of the students there .

For me , economic was a subject i choose for it is a subject with very comprehensive scope , which will help me to choose my career in different path . This help in marketing and buss and also banking sector . This help to know the real life activities of the market , baking sector , gives us a wider knowledge of the world in terms of economic.

My college is the best.

Likes

Things i liked about my college is the environment it is quite good . The stuff and other members are kind.
The teachers are very helpful they are always there for us.

Dislikes

The classes need to constructed actually and some benches need to be change.
The bathrooms are not cleaned it should be clean

The course i chose is regular course . This course helped me alot actually. I am thinking of doing masters. The timing for my exams are enough i get 3 hrs so i can write down the best for the exam sometimes it gets shorter but somehow i try to manage .

Likes

The campus is quite good and has a nice environment
Teachers and staffs are also great and helpful in every aspects.

Dislikes

In summer times it’s difficult to do classes as there are very few fans in each classroom
Campus is good enough but not that spacious

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose botany because yeah i do have interest in plant physiology, it's interesting and great. Teachers teaches their portion well and elaborately. Overall good experience. So the timing of each classes is 1hr and whenever there is sessional exam timing 1 hr and for semester exam it's 3 hrs.

It’s a great place, and since it’s a girls college there are no boys and it makes us feel more secure.
The lectures are really good, daily notes and good explanation.

Dislikes

personally the uniform costs seems too much and the sizes aren’t even accurate
the people in the canteen can increase the amount of food they give sometimes i think

Okay so, my course is BA with one major and 2 minors with minors being pol science and english and my major is History and the main reason i chose this subject is because i feel like it's a really important subject for future competitive exams, i also personally find it interesting to learn bout our pasts and how things have come to be, the faculty members are nice. We all know that history is a boring subject but still they try their best to teach it in a way that seems fun for us. Our history department got the maximum students with 300+ students so i can guess how much of an important subject this is as it will also help us build a great mindset and make us understand things better and increase our capacity to think more.

Learning process was very commendable. They mainly focus on your skills.
Apart from education co curricular activities were also good. Dance, music, sports etc were also given equal importance.

Dislikes

College campus is too small. I think they should elevate their campus size
Infrastructures were also not up to the mark . I mean infrastructure is not bad tho but still they should gradeup their infrastructures.

My aspects behind choosing this couse that is BA in economics was since economics is a tough subject and simultaneously it is interesting too I thought that people might ignore this course so why can't I grab this opportunity!Talking about the college curriculum, teaching process is quite lengthy otherwise teachers are always ready to learn new things for their students.

The faculties of the English department are excellent. Especially Shrutimala mam and Tashrina mam. They have the ability to keep the whole class into their attention for the entire period.
The college location is very convenient plus Dighalipukhuri park is an extra bonus for the bonus.

Dislikes

College common bathroom needs daily cleaning. Also no running water as well.
The college infrastructure is not upto the mark. Need furnishing here snd there.

The content mentioned in the course is aligned with the real-world application if you are interested in the teaching profession. Also, the exams could be quite a pressure because the evaluations done by certain teachers are not generous I feel. The course curriculum is completed on time. So in that case it gets demotivating.

The college has a basketball court. The canteen and library is good. There are 2 floors of library and two canteens.It is a girls college
College fest is held every year. Classes are conducted properly.classes like taekondo and variety ofcourses are conducted

Dislikes

Not enough competitions or activities.Infrastructure isn't that great, buildings are old , some fans don't work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The English honours under guwahati university covers English literature around the world in the 6 semesters. the first 4 semesters and in the first to semesters there is EVs and in the 3 Rd and 4th there is skill enchantment paper. Each semester is of 6 months but the semesters end quickly with only 2-3 months of classes.

Likes

The professors are quite active and helpful. They help the students in every way possible whether its regarding the academics or any personal problems
The classes are conducted on a regular basis and the professors and principal keeps the good records of the attendance so that the students never miss out any classes

Dislikes

Their is no proper place for holding functions and programs since the compound inside the college is quite small
The toilet facilities needs to be improved since its a all girls college and as girls at times we face many problems because of which it gets difficult for us since the toilet is far

The course that I have selected is English. Since it is a literature subject at first it was difficult for me to understand but after attending my classes regularly and after the help of my teachers it became quiet easy for me. The college also use to held sessional exams which helps us in improving ourselves and knowing where our mistakes are. And the finals are also held in a very proper way under the strict observation of our professors and overall it helps us in performing better

About My College

Likes

I like that some of the teachers teach well. And some of them are really kind.
The fees is less in both the college and hostel.

Dislikes

The classrooms and labs are really dirty and old and the equipments in the lab are not working properly.
The teachers are really rude and doesn't response well when needed. Some of them can't teach well either.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really hard and it all depends on me how much I study because the teachers doesn't teach good. And there's 7 subjects in the course which is too much. The exams timing are sometimes too late or too early. And the questions papers are set really hard sometimes.
