At the time of admission for the remaining seats, candidates must submit documents such as identity evidence, proof of age, proof of residence, and past academic credentials.

Gauhati University LLM and MEd Program Admission

Gauhati University has once again invited applications for the remaining slots in its LLM and M.Ed programs. Candidates whose names appear on the second merit list are invited to complete the physical admissions process on May 7, 2025. Candidates on the first admission list who were missing during admission will not be eligible for the remaining seats.

Gauhati University LLM and M.Ed Program Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be eligible as per the below-mentioned criteria to apply for Gauhati University LLM and M.Ed program

LLM Program Eligibility

  • Any law graduate with at least 50% aggregate marks from Gauhati University or another university or institution recognized by Gauhati University.
  • SC, ST, OBC, and MOBC candidates who are permanent residents of Assam would receive a 5% relaxation in their marks.

M.Ed Program Eligibility

  • Two-year B.Ed.
  • B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed.
  • B.El.Ed.
  • D.El Ed. with an undergraduate degree
  • SC, ST, OBC, and MOBC candidates who are permanent residents of Assam would receive a 5% mark relaxation.

Applicants must have a valid personal email address and phone number that will be operational until the end of the admissions process. Under no circumstances should he or she share or mention another person's e-mail address. If an applicant does not have a valid personal e-mail address, he or she should acquire one before applying online and must keep it active.
