Gauhati University MBA Admission 2025 Open; Apply by April 11

Gauhati University is inviting applications for the MBA program for the academic session 2025-26. Admissions are open for a 2-year full-time MBA program in the Department of Business Administration, Gauhati University and affiliated colleges.

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates) are eligible to apply. Students in the final semester of their Bachelor’s degree can also apply.

Gauhati University MBA Admission 2025 Selection Criteria

Candidates will be selected based on the written test conducted by the university followed by the Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

• Entrance Test: Gauhati University will conduct a written test to screen the candidates for the GDPI round. Candidates with a valid score of 75 percentile in MAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT or any other national-level MBA entrance exam can choose to opt out of the university’s entrance test.
• Group Discussion & Personal Interview: Candidates clearing their written test or having a 75 percentile in MAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT or any other national level MBA entrance exam have to appear for the GDPI round.

The final selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the written test/national-level MBA exam and in the GDPI round.
