IISWBM MBA Eligibility

• Candidates who have a bachelor's degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply in the MBA Course.
•  Graduates in any professional course (Engineering, etc.) LL.B (5 years) of a recognized University are also eligible.
• There is a 5% concession for reserve category.
• Applicants can secure admission in MBA (Day) through CAT score and MBA (Evening) through MAT/CMAT/JEMAT score.

The selection is done in the following manner:

IISWBM Kolkata offers a 2 year duration MSW Course in 4 specialization areas.

Here are all the essential details provided in brief for students regarding the MSW course. Candidates who have a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply in the MSW Course.

IISWBM MSW Eligibility

• Candidates must have an Honours degree or equivalent course with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) 

• Candidates who have a Professional course degree with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University are eligible too.

IISWBM MSW Selection Criteria

• For shortlisting students, IISWBM considers the performance in the qualifying degree. Thereafter, the shortlisted applicants have to take the Written Test.
• Furthermore, if they qualify in the test, then the institute invites them for GD and PI rounds.
• Those who get selected will have their names on the list. Also, they will get an email informing them about their selection.

IISWBM offers a 1 year PGDM course offering admission to applicants in 7 specializations areas. Candidates are selected in the PGDM course on the basis of a written test followed by GD and PI round.

IISWBM PGDM Eligibility 2025

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science/Media Management/English/Mathematics/Statistics or B.Com or equivalent in order to apply for the programme.
• Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering recognized by AICTE or Board of Technical Education.

IISWBM PGDM Selection Criteria

The selection criteria for the programme is given beneath:

• The institute will conduct a Written Test on the basis of which candidates will be shortlisted
• Those who will get shortlisted will be called for GD and PI.
• After the above rounds, IISWBM will select applicants for admission and publish a list containing the names of all the selected students.
• The institute, thus, selects applicants depending upon the Work Experience and performance in PI round.

IISWBM, Kolkata offers M.Phil on the basis of Written Test. Also, Candidates who have qualified NET/SET or equivalent national level examination will be exempted from Written Test and will be called for an interview round directly. And the final selection in both of the courses are based on the GD and PI round of the students.

IISWBM M.Phil Eligibility

• Candidates who have passed a Master’s degree in Management, Commerce or Social Welfare and any other related discipline from Calcutta University with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (SC/ST with 50% marks) OR with 60% aggregate marks from any other recognized University are eligible to apply for M.Phil course.

IISWBM M.Phil Selection Criteria

• The institute shortlists students depending upon their performance in the Written Test.
• Those who obtain a valid score in the test have to be present for the PI round.
• The final selection is based upon the performance in the Written Test and PI.

The institute provides admission in the Center for Research in Materials Management which is a 2 to 4 years course in three specialization areas namely Logistics, Supply Chain, and Materials Management. The minimum eligibility for CRIMM is mentioned below:
