Remarks

So it is one of the oldest institutions in India it has a great faculty.it is under CU. Some big companies come here for placement. So I did not took any education loan. All the expenses were paid by my father.

IISWBM has one of the best faculties.The academics are quite adapted to the modern changes, the curriculum is slightly behind the rest of the colleges in Kolkata but it is quite beneficial as a whole.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 675000 per year

Placement Experience

The packages are not very good but the ports which are offered are quite nice some good companies come here the average package needs to be improved so that it can match the other colleges in Kolkata.

College Events

The campus life was nice but there were not much extra curricular activities or events.The events are very basic. If you love sports,this is not the right place. there are many colleges in Kolkata which is better in extracurricular.

the college is very old and the infrastructure is not very good. The benches and the tables are not in a good condition, as a whole the campass is not very good. The college needs immediate renovation.

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.

An average old school management institute with average placements

The best part of this insititute is the legacy that it carries being the oldest management institute of the country it aims to keep upto its reputation.
