Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with:

At least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and
At least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.

Note :

Having Passport at the time of admission is mandatory.
Qualifying IMU CET 2025-2026is mandatory.
For the Academic Year-2025, 5% relaxation in PCM marks at the 12th Std. Board Level for SC/ST Candidates for Admission into Pre-Sea courses (B.Tech / B.Sc).

Only Naval academy with a college life exposure

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure changes every year, It was 1100000/- for BSc Nautical Science back in 2021. Now it has increased to 1300000/-. Several other courses are introduced in this academic year. Female students also get scholarships from the company they are recruited to.

The only thing I don't like is the fee issues they doesn't wait for ur fees to paid after exams they want in before exam only .

Talking about fees is my full 3 year course fee is 13 lakhs and it's splitted according to the semester so every semester it's splitted in 2 to 2.5 lakhs . Talking about scholarship the top 10 cadets gets this opportunity of getting concession in their fees .

MANET - A great opportunity to start and flourish your career

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees are not like a normal BSC course of course as it is a specialized Bsc course that deals with Nautical Sciences. The fee is 13 lakhs for 3 years and with the authority's decisions, changes are made in the fees as and when required. however, the authority should take into firm considering the fact that students from different financial backgrounds have been studying here and a sudden spike can affect them and their families. A scholarship is provided by DG Shipping to all Female Cadets every year of the sum of 1 lakh. Placement oppurtunities are good. it is that the student must be all clear in all the Semesters. The average package is almost 3lakhs per annum

The course syllabus is as per requirements of IMU and DG Shipping. Yes, the college provide enough industrial exposure. They arrange various visit to different educational spot like port visit, Garbage Management industry etc. Talking about faculties, this college is fortunate enough to have a such good faculties who have wide range of knowledge that they contain such potential to make you best in your field. Captain Vilas Pimpal Khare, Captain Rakesh Mamgain, Captain R. Kulur, Captain Deshpande, Captain Gokhlae and many more faculties are there who are the main reason for reputation of this college.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Girl cadets are assisted with fee consession of 50,000 per semester by the DG Shipping. There's no scholarship as such for cadets in MANET. Cadets can avail loan facilities with the reference provided by college but usually cadets prefer opting a loan from banks of their own choice so college is not much involved in this matter.

There are not much but there are some for first and second rank holders per semester and some for the sports. For first rank holder there are about 50000 rs scholarship and for second rank holder there are around 25000 rs scholarship.

Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training is one of the most prestigious Naval Training Institutes in the country. It is awarded an ‘A1’ rating by the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) in CIP under the Directorate General of Shipping, India.

AMET University is deemed to be a university offering quality education in maritime studies across various disciplines.

Academics:

The 3-year BSc in Nautical Sciences program at both the institute requires students to have 59% marks in 10+2 in PCM and at least 50% marks in English. Students with a 6/6 eyesight below the age of 25 can apply for this program.
