I chose Manet and opted for BSc. Nautical Science which is one of the course in marine field in deck department to get in the field of merchant navy because this college has its own reputation when it comes to quality education.Along with that it has good infrastructure, friendly environment and always have a scope for students to learn new things in their selected course. Yes, it's a truth that the placement record from few years is not as good as expected. You have to work very hard to get placed. So, the college needs to work in this field. But the faculties there, are very experienced and possess wide range of knowledge. They always try their best in their capacity to help each student to acquire knowledge in their respective subject. The facilities related to education are more than expected. A ship in campus is there to provide practical knowledge and make every student capable to deal with every situation which usually occur while you are on a ship. Apart from academics it provide opportunities for those who have interest in sports and consist of various sports mentor to guide students. The college conduct various sports event at college level and state level as well. It helps you to inculcate the officer like qualities which is very much require in this field.

The course syllabus is as per requirements of IMU and DG Shipping. Yes, the college provide enough industrial exposure. They arrange various visit to different educational spot like port visit, Garbage Management industry etc. Talking about faculties, this college is fortunate enough to have a such good faculties who have wide range of knowledge that they contain such potential to make you best in your field. Captain Vilas Pimpal Khare, Captain Rakesh Mamgain, Captain R. Kulur, Captain Deshpande, Captain Gokhlae and many more faculties are there who are the main reason for reputation of this college.

Many companies visited here like Maersk Tankers, MOL, MOLTA, BW, etc. and placed many cadets every year but they need to recruit more cadets. Yes the college provide assistance to the capable cadets to get placed.

The campus life is so amazing and depends whether you chose this course yourself or not. Apart from academics and technical things, the campus organise college fest every year and many cultural events in various festival. The fest get organise at University level but if talking about participation from our college, it is not as much as expected due to various reasons.

Infrastructure of this campus is so adorable and I think is main reason for many admissions. Talking about sports facilities it has a very large playground and equipped with all necessary sports equipments. Library is also there which provide access to all essential books related to courses and other fields both. It contains spacious reading hall where you can spend your time with the quality books. The wifi access is only for faculties and staff. All necessary labs equipped with useful equipments are there to provide practical related knowledge.
