The Placement department provides us with various Internship opportunities for WIP and SIP programs.
The average package for placement is Rs. 5lakh/year and a maximum package is Rs. 15 lakh/year.
The placement scope for HRM and Finance is limited but the placement scope in Marketing and Business Analytics is very good in IEM.

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

I.e.m is already among the reputed colleges in kolkata. For me, the reputation for its discipline was one of the prime factors along with the placement statistics of the last few years. The help we got from faculty members was worth gratitude. The whole MBA/PGDM community was like a family for us.

This college provided me with a lot of opportunities to work on my leadership skills and improve my knowledge throughout the course through different programs, they provide industrial trips, study abroad programs which the competitor colleges don't provide. The internship is compulsory here.
