Remarks

This college provided me with a lot of opportunities to work on my leadership skills and improve my knowledge throughout the course through different programs, they provide industrial trips, study abroad programs which the competitor colleges don't provide. The internship is compulsory here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is hectic, builds your skills and experience. The current course of my batch is under the MAKAUT syllabus. There are many research conventions throughout the year with the support of international conferences which help to groom your research side.

Placement Experience

Yes. The internship is provided to all students in my college. My internship was from Hindalco, Belur as an HR trainee. The mentors help in the internship tenure to make it easier to survive in tough days of the internship. They even help with the project formation later. Yes, the stipend is provided by many companies but last year Hindalco did not provide me a stipend.

College Events

Our management department organizes a separate Management Fest called SRJAN every year. And a new Business Simulation Challenge has started from this year. We have a Cultural Fest for the whole of IEM. Stars like Katrina Kaif, Sidharth Malhotra have even come to promote their films.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. Currently, it has increased from 6Lakhs to 6. 4Lakhs. Compared to other business schools it is cheaper. The fee is included for a study abroad trip for 5 days to Singapore.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Management Department provides a scholarship to all its students in the form of a study abroad program. They take us to Singapore and there are loan facilities provided by the college. Though, I have not taken the loan.

Campus Life

There are 6:4 Ratio for a male to females. They provide different Workshops (leadership team building, SPSS), etc. There are all kind of students of different races and cultures. They differ in age too.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful. Every year we have Alumni meets where we are allowed to interact with the seniors. The Alumni members are from FLIPKART, OLA, TCS, etc. They help in providing internship and interactive sessions about the workplace.

Admission

I chose this college due to its record of 100% jobs guarantee and discipline. This college has 9 to 5 timings which are helpful once you get a job. I gave the CAT exam, then gave the GD-PI, and got selected.

Faculty

The faculties are almost all of the Ph.D. categories. There is a mentee mentor program that helps to support us throughout the course. They have knowledge in their field and skills to make the class interesting and practical oriented.

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

IIM Calcutta has fantastic placement records. This year also it got 100% placement. There are offers for various roles in marketing, finance, consulting, operations, product management, and general management, and it involves the participation of world-renowned organisations. A total of 170 organisations visited the campus, providing a total of 520 job openings. IIM has a 100% placement rate, with the majority of the organisations coming from the consulting, financial services, marketing, and information technology industries. The highest domestic CTC was 60 lakhs, with an average package of roughly 28.5 lakhs.

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
