Remarks

Because I am right now pursuing MBA from this college so for providing real review of the college I attend for this college. This college is one of the best colleges in Kolkata for pursuing an MBA. They also provide us with foreign digital marketing certification from University of Singapore. The placement cell is also very helpful . Average package is Rs. 5 lakh/year.

Course Curriculum Overview

IEM provides dual specialization to the students. Specialization in Marketing is mandatory for the market scope and you can choose your 2nd specialization in Finance/ Human Resource Management/Business Analytics. They also provide a two year entrepreneurship training program which is very much interesting to knowing more about the market. The faculties are very helpful.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The placement department provides various Internship opportunities for WIP and SIP. The internships are specially non-stipend. Companies like ITC, Hyland software, Dabur, Outlook etc comes for Internships.

Placement Experience

The Placement department provides us with various Internship opportunities for WIP and SIP programs. The average package for placement is Rs. 5lakh/year and a maximum package is Rs. 15 lakh/year. The placement scope for HRM and Finance is limited but the placement scope in Marketing and Business Analytics is very good in IEM.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for two years is Rs. 6,40,000. We have to pay 1,60,000 per semester. No Scholarship is provided to lessen the fee value of this two-year MBA program. We can easily apply for an education loan.

Campus Life

Though we have started our session online IEM has very good management. We celebrated online teachers' day. We have also attended various webinars virtually. IEM has many clubs like IEM Toastmasters club, IEM Lion's club, IEM Rotary club, IEM Creative club, etc. IEM E-MAGAZINE is also introduced by the management department where I am of the editor's.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is near the college and is very well furnished. Though I have not enrolled myself in a hostel. So, I don't know much about it. IEM has also its bus for students who are coming from Howrah side. You can know more about this from the admission department of IEM.

Hostel Fee: INR 96000 per year

Interview Experience

I have to go through GD and PI process. The GD topics are relating to the business situations , role playing and sharing your own views on the situation. PI is all about your graduation subject related and current affairs .

Because IEM is a renowned institute which is best for engineering as well as management. They also provide international SIP opportunity to Singapore.

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

IIM Calcutta has fantastic placement records. This year also it got 100% placement. There are offers for various roles in marketing, finance, consulting, operations, product management, and general management, and it involves the participation of world-renowned organisations. A total of 170 organisations visited the campus, providing a total of 520 job openings. IIM has a 100% placement rate, with the majority of the organisations coming from the consulting, financial services, marketing, and information technology industries. The highest domestic CTC was 60 lakhs, with an average package of roughly 28.5 lakhs.

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
