IEM Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students become eligible for campus placements from the 4th year. Our college gives the best placements from their campus. The salaries start from 7 lakh per annum. Almost all the student from IEM gets really good placements.

The placement was about 90% in the CSE department. Everyone from any department can be a seat for placement in all companies in our college. tcs is the mass recruiting in our college. Also Infotech, cognizant came in on campus.

We have an extremely well policy of having a 100 percent placement in almost all streams. Our college primarily focuses that each and every student of theirs get placed. We have reputed companies coming and recruiting students every year.

I chose Computer Science Engineering as the course is in much demand and there are multiple opportunities after pursuing this course. IEM provides subjects like AI, Deep Learning , Machine Learning so that we can cope with the advancements of technology and get lucrative jobs. Faculty student ratio is satisfactory. All the students are guided as much as possible. The faculties are very well qualified and are very knowledgeable. We had exams quite often, especially during pandemic, so that students don't deviate from their focus and hence our study habits were retained. The questions are set by our college and if students are attending the classes properly and taking down notes, then the exams can be passed with flying colours.

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies that visit this college like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Sap Labs, L and T Infotech, etc and many more. And in CSE almost 95% students get placed and in electrical more than 90%, students get placed. Highest CTC offered is 10LPA and the average CTC offered is 5-6LPA in the year 2020. There are more than 50 companies participating.

From 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. Students also need to work as an intern in the 3rd year. Don't know about the companies visited and no offers made. 1Cr, 90% and above. Higher studies.

The most important and excellent thing about this College is it has a great Placement record almost 95% students got placed company like TCS Wipro adobe Samsung are there last year highest package is 40 lakhs per year 4 students got this and avg package is 5/6 lakhs per year.

I have always been curious about Computer Science and it is my love for the subject that drove me to choose this branch in a reputed college like mine. The student-teacher ratio is close to 1: 60. There are timely exams. Two midsemester exams of 70 marks and end semester exams of 100 marks. Apart from this, there are regular assignments to complete with due deadlines
