Remarks

I applied through wbjee . This exam is not tough as jee in comparison you can easily score as the level of the paper was quite low than jee but there are more questions which makes wbjee harder. As time management is a big factor you should practice more and give mock tests. This is a good institute you can get a placement. Infrastructure is also good there was one basketball group. Teachers are friendly. Everything is almost good about IEM. You have a college dress. But there is so much discipline. It maintains discipline you have to enter the gate in time. This is college almost gives an environment of the school.

Course Curriculum Overview

CSE is a passion for me. I loved it this is the only reason I had chosen this course. Faculty members are also very supportive and helpful. You can ask your doubts. They provide a friendly environment. All teachers are well trained and educated well most have completed mechanically. Their teaching method was good. But you should practice yourself. To gain more. It conducts exams on a regular basis there was a semester exam. If you follow all instructions you can easily score well in the exam.

Internships Opportunities

IEM do provide internship opportunity after 6th semester. TCS Selected some students for the internship. Many students apply through online portals to get a good internship. CSE /it students get most of the opportunities. You will get a lot of exposure. As we have a good coding culture in our college. So many of the students cracked TCS CODEVITA. Two teams qualified for ACM ICPC. There are more than 50 companies visit this college.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies that visit this college like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Sap Labs, L and T Infotech, etc and many more. And in CSE almost 95% students get placed and in electrical more than 90%, students get placed. Highest CTC offered is 10LPA and the average CTC offered is 5-6LPA in the year 2020. There are more than 50 companies participating.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can submit the fee at an interval of 6 months before your semester exam. Every semester fee is around 60000-65000. If you perform well in college there is a 100% chance you got a good placement through this college.

Campus Life

The campus size is quite small in comparison to others. The library is good you get the books whatever you required. This is college also organizing cultural festivals and many events extra co circular activities. There is one basketball ground only. As Campus size is small. You are good at play you can get an opportunity too to play with other college students and become representatives of your college.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
