Remarks

The admission process was extremely smooth and we were guided by the people present at the administration office. We were already selected in the college based on our WBJEE rank and via its counseling process. We were given dates to come for getting admitted to the college with some documents necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview

The term papers were generally held on a 6-month basis. But due to the pandemic situation, they occurred on a 5 monthly basis. They were standard on the difficulty level. If someone paid attention in class and worked hard a bit they could easily score well in the exams.

Internships Opportunities

I was offered an internship in IFortis as a content writer. I was offered an internship as a Web developer in one of the start-ups of our college. Overall I had a good time experimenting and exploring in my first year.

Placement Experience

We have an extremely well policy of having a 100 percent placement in almost all streams. Our college primarily focuses that each and every student of theirs get placed. We have reputed companies coming and recruiting students every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a Web dev internship in a noteworthy startup. Also, I did various digital marketing internships for one year. They were great and helped me learn a lot. All thanks to my college. All students are quite happy seeing their placement and internship scenario.

Campus Life

We had various clubs in the college. Be it dance, singing, quiz. We also have technological clubs who are very much active in conducting seminars regarding recent trends as well as guides for placements and Carrer planning.

Hostel Facilities

I will be staying in my college hostel once college reopens. It's a nice place. It serves a decent meal every day. And on weekends we have a special meal which is quite good. There are WiFi facilities available.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
