Navigating the college decision

Likes

There is various co curriculum for observed days such as science day, forest day, environmental day... Poster, painting , essay competitions are held for which prizes were given.
Sports week is held inter college between college of agriculture and college of horticulture and forestry.

Dislikes

Less practical involvement in summer due to harsh weather condition of the bundelkhand region.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee semester wise is increasing year by year however I'm paying 14800 per year and we get nts scholarship which is 3000 per month at the end of semester given by ICAR. The merit heeded to avial this scholarship is 7.0 OGPA for general and obc category and 6.5 OGPA for SC and ST caste.

LIFE AT RLBCAU

Likes

Infrastructure is top notch. It has central air conditioning.
Lift system on all sides of all floors and pond areas with boating systems.

Dislikes

Exams are conducted like every other month so it does become stressful
There is not much sports related infrastructure or sort of proper field.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees is 8880 per semester and it includes hostel fees and tuition fees. There are 2 semesters in one year making it 17760 per year. It takes students through icar cuet so we are provided nts scholarship of 3000 per month. It is a government institution so the price doesnot increase.

RLBCAU- my best decision ever.

Likes

Infrastructure and environment are great like fields and swimming pool and even we have the boating area at two ponds
The classes have smart boards and central air conditioning

Dislikes

Markets are not around for atleast 7km so you have to go a little distance for shopping but we have a general store inside.
Strict rules and regulations about hostel timings

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Here, per semester fees is 8880, hostel fees and every other fees included, mess fee is separate and comes around 2600. So per year you have to give around 18000 excluding mess fees. This is a central government university so price is not increased. People selected do get nts scholarship from icar of 3000 per month or 36000 per yr irrespective of states where they're from. The nts here is on per semester ogpa basis, 7.0 for general and 6.5 for sc/st.

Likes

Faculty Exprience: The fuclty was divers one and knowledgeable.

Dislikes

College in terms placement and making relationships with industry.
Coollege is not active on Linkdln , Instagram or other social media places.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Yes everystudents got scholarship in UG amount of 3000/months. The fees was nominal as compared to private colleges. The scholarships name is NTS by ICAR. But the campus has no structured placement cycle or process to ensure smoth onboarding of companies.

RLBCAU:- The best agricultural university in India

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is beyond expectations both in academic building as well as the hostels
Classrooms are lashed with high technology modern equipments. All classrooms are fitted with smart display boards and wifi. Easy to access for professors to display their content to the students in an efficient way.

Dislikes

Lack of high class sports related infrastructure and absence of athletic track.
Isolated location of the university provides little scope of amusements. It's 10 km away from main city.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Total fee per sem is about 8000 indian rupee which includes everything from tution fee to hostel charges except the mess fee of 2600 rupees. Besides this every student securing 7 cgpa and above are entitled to the National talent scholarship provided by ICAR which is rupees 3000 per month. SC/ST students avail their scholarship by clearing all the subjects and securing a cgpa of 6.5+

Rani Lakshmibai Central Agricultural University -Dream of agricultural students

The university lies in sideline of city jhansi.The campus has an area of 300 acre.Beautiful and green campus providing all necessities to the students.Overall campus life is good.Someone can engage themselves in various activities in & around campus.
There are three disciplines namely agriculture, horticulture and forestry and some disciplines yet to started and have various departments.Departments have good labs and good laboratory staff.Here teaching is done on projector which is explained.

Dislikes

University provides internship opportunities to the students but the placement of students is not considered to be good here.It needs to improve.
Here,the schedule of college is very busy.Studenys have to go college for six days in a week for six to seven hours.This has to be changed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

This is one of the three agricultural central university in India.The course fee is affordable here which is 7400 per semester and it increases per year by 1000 rupees.The course fee for four years around 60000.You have to pay your mess charge and electricity bill separately.No other charges is here besides some security money at the beginning which gets return once completing your course.As getting admission here only through entrance exams conducted by Icar so the scholarship is given of 3000 per month called as NTS(National Talent Scholarship).There is cetain criteria for getting scholarship here.Someone have to maintain cgpa per semester to get the scholarship.Mess charges and electricity bill varies ,it is around 36000 per year .

The central university thoughts

Likes

I like Place , facilities, view, study in university .
The management of the university is not much better as high level Universities but it's good for best study purpose.

Dislikes

The sports facilities are not much more for the students and also staff.
The exam pattern is not good for the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

There's paying 14800rs/year fees. The mode of payment is online based only no cash is allowed. The receipt will be given after the payment and then they will provide registration cards for the signature of the course teacher and other course details. There's providing 3000rs /month as a scholarship when students cross the 7 cgp in exam and it's for sc/st students 6.5cgp is required.

"A Fresh Perspective : A review of RLBCAU "

RLBCAU has an organized academic management. The faculties have positive teaching style . An advisor is alloted to each student.There are periodic tests in the form of quizzes in the respective courses so that students by heart all the concepts .
In my campus life,I got to interact with students from 22-23 different states. RLBCAU not only excels in producing good results but it also offers a beautiful ecosystem within which people from different states, cultures, languages dwell together.

Dislikes

Since the university is recently established, things are not too organized. There is always a room for improvements. Poor facilities and playgrounds for different sporting activities. No indoor stadium for indoor games like badminton, TT,Carrom, etc.
Less competition among peers as low students strength in the university. You can't predict the extent of actual competition staying here.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Every year the newly enrolled students will experience a hike of around ?1400 in the semester fees of bsc degree in RLBCAU compared to previous batches.Since RLBCAU falls under the category of INI,it offers students to pursue their bsc degree at a minimal affordable price. Each semester, we pay only ?7400 which includes the cost of tution fee and hostels fees.Medical assistance is free inside the campus. . ?6000 was paid as a security money initially which is fully refundable. Students need to pay ?2600 for mess every month as there is private mess in all the hostels Students get NTS(National Talent Scholarship)-?3000 per month if they successful get 7+ OGPA in each semester. Students appear for internships in the final year in companies as DHANUKA, WILLOWOOD, Happy Pot, abrosaa, Manupra foods,terra agro biotech pvt ltd.,etc as marketing and managing interns and get stipend around 15-25k per month and certificate. Students also take responsibilities of MR, executive team of SPARSH.

Overall college views and everything is best in this college .
Faculty members and teachers are amazing 😍.

Dislikes

Market areas are so far from this college .

In this college fees structure is avarage and have normal fees structure. And scholarship is 3000 in every month. But for this schorlarship eligibility criteria is above 7 CGPA. No job got on campus with stipend. Thank you
