Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course helps us to know about the inter relation between agriculture and forestry. I personally wanted to do a different course which have good oppotunity in society and for future. The practicals , the field trips , and the classes helps to develop a good knowledge on the subject. More practicals have to done as improvement of teaching method as here teaching is mainly based on theory.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure for the course per annum is rupees 17760/-. This includes all the admission fees , lab fees , examination fees , hostel fees. Electricity bill of 2700 per sem and medical insurance of 1270 per annum are given seperately . The scholarship provided is NTS which is given by ICAR is 3000 per month. All the batchmates of all categories have same fees.

Campus Life

5

Festivals that usually comes are Rani lakshmi bai's birthday which comes on November , Foundation day which comes on march 5th. Convocation , independence day , republic day are some events that are held. The books available are mainly related to the course and different newspapers are available too. Classroom have centralized AC and are smart classrooms. Intercollege sports , agri fest , agri sports are held. Many clubs such as culturals ,sports club, literacy clubs are there.

Admission

I mainly choosed this college as its one of the prestigeous in our country. Our college is one of the 3 central agricultural university in India. I gave Rlbcau as my first option and i got this college in my first counselling. Therefore i have not got rejected from any other college. The admission procedure is through ICAR counselling. Eligibility is 12th pass.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is 1:10 , faculties are quite friendly. Dr Kale sir, Dr Swati mam are so good at teaching and are student friendly. They understand us and helps us in whatever wat possible. Dr. Singh i dont like as he is strict. There are totally 5 exams they are quiz 1 , mid term , quiz 2 , end term theory and practical. Exams are not that much tough , maximum students pass in exams maybe 1 or 2 get back in any subject.

Night Life

4

Favourite hangout spot is our amul cafe inside campus, late night life is less in campus because of the timings of our hostel. There are 3 girls hostel and timings are till 7pm. Forts , parks , going to get street foods are some of the favourite things to do.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
