Likes

Facilities provided by the college are really nice like the wifi connection in hostel and colllege both
Students from all the parts of india comes and theres a rule in the college that we all have to be mingling up with each individual
The professsors here are very hard working pay special attention to every individual and people who have language problem can also improve themselves

Dislikes

The toilets and the uniform is too ugly and its very unconfirtable

Course Curriculum Overview

The timing for the exams are very less here and one thing which i dont like about the invigilator is that they try to work alone in distributing the paper because of which some studnets get the paper late and difficukty in time management .

Is 3000/ month Eligubility of NTS is for generalobc 7 minimum cgpa and for sc st 6.5 cgpa For batch of 2024-25 freshers There has been chnages in fees structure

Campus Life

The campus surrounding is really nice , although some people complain about that fhe campus is small but i find it suffiecient and in terms of research works its more good. The campus is really neat and clean environment

Admission

The admission process was smooth and the teachers engaged were really nice . Before i moved to his college i was already in a different college as the icar counselling starts very late and yes in comparation ti my previous college(DU) this is so much better

Faculty

The ratio is i guess 2:3 in generally The professors are really engaging in their works and its very different from ither univeristies . In other univeristites the professsors they dont care about students but here they know your name individually which i feel its nice and makes the students interested. Specially the agronomy , entomology ,soil science and extension deptartment is really good here in the univeristy.

Interview Experience

In ICAR we were admitted last year by our CUET marks based maybe it was due to corona virus or lese in other years icar have its own entrance exammination and ifs more harder than the cuet papers .there no group discussion or interview

Night Life

The girls hostel closes at 6:30 which is not fair i guess since we are not allowed to see the night ciew of our campus until and uncless you go hom efor vacation ata night rest the biys have so much freedom. Famius hangouts near the camous are sipri , pahuj dan where our college is located nearby

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.

Experience of mine

I choose this college because it's a central university and I thought it would be better to graduate from a central university rather than any other state university. I opted many agricultural colleges and got nominated for this college at first round of councilling . I freeze it at sight . I didn't get rejected from any college. You have to apply for the CUET examination and score around 350 to 400 marks then you can get seat in agriculture department. Admission process is too long for my season....Read More
