Course Curriculum Overview

This course is very interesting in my point of view if you are interested in plants and related aspects.But chances of placement is also less.You have chances for preparing government exams such as IBPS AFO ,NABARD.

Class Size: 33Course Fees: INR 8880 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is arranged by college in 7th semester.Various companies came for students selection.In agriculture and horticulture course internship is arranged by college.You can join internship programme in same place or in your hometown .

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester fees of Rani lakshmi bai central agricultural University for bsc (hons) horticulture is 8880 and seperate electricity bill according to use.And scholarship amount is 3k per month from ICAR.For which 80% attendance is compulsory .

Campus Life

Various annual festivals are celebrated in college which is very joyful for students.In library various books of subjects of this course are available.Sports teachers are also arranged by University.Various clubs such as sports club, science club are made by college faculty members.

Admission

The semester fees is less than that of other colleges fees.And the infrastructure is also nice.For taking admission in this college you have to qualify icar exam.And after score card released there are 4 rounds for admission through icar only.

Faculty

Teaching faculty are good for students. Exams are moderate not so tough . It's easy to pass in exams with moderate study and professers guidence.For competition of games and extra curricular activities various rewards are given to students including certificates ,medals etc.

Night Life

Gym is available in both girls and boys hostel.And campus is well managed and clean.Hostel food is also nice .For boys roaming in campus is allowed without any timings but for girls there is specific timings .

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.

I preferred this college on the top over others during the choice filling and luckily I got it. Experience of mine

I choose this college because it's a central university and I thought it would be better to graduate from a central university rather than any other state university. I opted many agricultural colleges and got nominated for this college at first round of councilling . I freeze it at sight . I didn't get rejected from any college. You have to apply for the CUET examination and score around 350 to 400 marks then you can get seat in agriculture department. Admission process is too long for my season....Read More
