Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2025 (conducted for engineering admission to IITs).

The candidates must have passed a 10+2 degree with aggregate marks of 75% (or 65% for SC, ST, and PwD) from a recognized board.

How to apply for JEE- Main?

Candidates who are eligible for admission have to take the JEE Main. The application process is given below:

Visit the official website of JEE- Main
Register for the online application form
Make a note of the system-generated application number
Create a password
Log in again and fill out the form
Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.
Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

Likes

Infrastructure are newly built and is top notch
Packages are decent enough as a 3rd gen iit , hope it gets increased

Dislikes

It is located in a rural type area and we did not have basic amenities like gym in like 5km
Weather is a bit hot and the sun can be scorching sometimes

The Fee Structure is a little bit high in IIT Bhilai, for tuition fees it is normal, we also have a fee waiver for economically weaker students, and for other reservations and other minor scholarships, the hostel and mess cost is a bit high.

I liked the environment that all the students are well studious and cooperrative
The college campus is also coming to be best in 1 year

Dislikes

The campus is now in construction so ground not much for playing
We are also in Village as campus is big so

Fees and Financial Aid:

The cost of the study is high but we can easily get a fee waiver and can have up to 67 per cent of the fee. Scholarships are also provided as students I'd card and many companies come for internships and jobs

What should I take, metallurgy and material science at IIT Indore or electrical at IIT Bhilai?

I think the branch matters more than the institute and that being said personally I feel IIT Bhilai Electrical is a better option than IIT Indore Material Science. The small batch size enables you to make the most out of the opportunities and resources. The points below further prove my opinion

Here is a small list of things why you should consider IIT Bhilai:

The professors come from IIT Hyderabad, one of the most reputed and well-regarded new IITs.
The fractal system is followed here giving you a more flexible academic palette.
The core subjects are introduced in the first semester itself so that students can identify their interests early.
IIT Bhilai EE lab is one of the very few labs in India which is Cloud Connected.
There are 20 All-in-ones that have 8-core i7 processors in the EE lab.
The institute has vibrant campus life with dynamic student activities going on such as 6 cultural clubs and 3 tech clubs.
The Electronics Club of IIT Bhilai Is well-equipped and enables you to experiment with various modules like GPS module, GPRS module, accelerometer, etc
