The infrastructure and teachers were good.

Faculty:

Faculty to student ratio was approx 50 to 1000. the relationship between student and faculty was very good, all faculties were approchable. We could talk with them freely withut any hesitation whether the talk was about about study or some personal matter. I liked rajesh mundotiya sir the most and he was the ML teacher. He was the most friendly teacher. But all facuklties were great. There were no faculties whom i Didn't liked. In one semester there were 3 exam, each after 25 days and the exam were easy to moderate. the studentrs who didn't studied not went to class they only fail.

A good college with lots of upcoming developments in the future...

The faculty here is excellent. All are masters of their fields. They have studied from the well known prestigous institutes from all around the wrold. We have around 70 faculty members. They all are very supportive and all always approachable during or after the class.

Ig the faculty-to-student ratio is not that decent because we don't have enough faculty for the courses,this we get only a few courses offered and have to choose among them only. Would say Dr.Nikhil Chander sir is good at teaching,he is our electrical professor and I personally like his way of teaching and explaining. One sir I didnt like is our electrical machines sir because he doesn't know how to properly explain things in a understandable manner.Its not just about knowing the subject but also presenting it well enough is also very important. We have exams depending on the number of courses we choose,and in case of labs we don't have any written test,it's the lab test and viva.And the difficulty of the examination depends upon the faculty and the paper he sets for the examination.If the faculty is very tough then you find many students failing sometimes may be half of the class too. And some faculty are chill enough that you can get a decent grade just by one night batting. If you fail in any course,you have to opt it in some other semester to clear the course.

Slow people really takes time but it doesn't mean that they can't grabs opportunities, if you are a men no one can stop.

All the faculty are highly qualified from IITs they are ph.d holder's and most of are from IISC's and International university's. They are very good in EE department. And all give good response to the students and faculty's clear every doubt of the students also...!!????

My life at iit bhilai

Exam system is preety standard there are 2 exams mid sem and end sem the overall structure is decided by the professor only and exams are subjective most of the time although varies course by course you need to complete certain credits during your course and for that you can opt for your courses there are certain sections within that like professional core which are branch specific courses, department electives where you can choose courses other than branch but in same department or take courses of your own branch in de, open elective where you can take course from different department and next is cala where you need to do certain extra courses other than engineering at last there are institute core courses which are compulsory for all the students

The professors are not that much into the subj which they belong to , they keep on telling fast where we are able to understand or not I don't understand

The institute takes very less number of girl students i don't understand. The ratio of boys and girls is 4:1. Even after getting a permanent campus also they are not accepting many girl students. I like our physics professor so much , he is non other than Dr.praveen sir . His teachings is so good when compared to others. I can give 5star for his teachings which I won't even give for other professors also. I hate my maths sir and math tutor mam , they both are such a bad at teaching. The sir teach us fast but don't explain sums that much even if he does. Explain those are very small . And in exam he give very big sums like fuck.The tutor doesn't even explain sums and expects us to solve everything on our own and scolda us a bit . There are 6 exams.The exams are ofcourse tough than expected, even if we apply the concept and write they will cut out marks no matter what.I super hate exams.Those invigilator are such a blind that people infornt me write while seeing in a during exam . It's not fare they do chatgpt and write off , we who work hard and barely pass the exam has no use cuz the grades are considered according to relative grading .

In most of the branches the faculty to students ratio is about 1:8. Faculties are humble, polite and always ready to help, they are just a single call away. Two class tests and two exams (mid and end sems) are held for every course we take. The course gets updated frequently and faculties too put their heart to explain everything

the faculty to student ratio is lesser compared to other colleges as it is a new gen iit it is around (1:40), personally i am in mechanical engineering so the faculty there is just amazing and they have indepth knowledge of their respective stream. i have been personally very inspired by Dr. Rahul Jain (ast.prof manufacturing and mechanical) he is one of the top prof of our college and his grasp on his stream is commendable. there is no such faculty that i did not like. so basically there are 2 major exams which is the mid-sem and end-sem and there are some quizes in between depending on the faculty taking the course. the level of the exams are accurate to what is taught in the course classes which can me moderate to hard. the failing percentage vary through out the courses but on an average it is lesser than 5% the course curriculum is pretty relevant according to industry needs

Life at IIT Bhilai

As per my interactions, faculty are very effective and highly qualified. They even support us out of the lectures considering personal doubts too. Especially in my branch thr faculties are much more educated and also are involved in researches. Theirs a faculty student ratio of 10 students per ratio.
