Placement Experience:

the placements are decent. From 7th semester students become eligible for placement. Some of the companies like hexaware and Infosys visited and around 150 offers were made. highest were 48 lakh/annum offered by Accenture and average is of 1000000/annum which is more or less same for all department. 65 percent student got placed I am also in working profession

Students here are provided with internships and placements opprotunities in various core and non core sectors. Placements are provided in consulting, IT, technical, finance, analytics, management, teaching and research sectors. Highest and average packages offered were 48 and 13 lacks respectively. Major companies are Accenture Japan, Deloitte, Winjit, siemens, nvidia, tesco, mahindra and mahindra, tata autocomp, HCL, TCS, L&T ,etc. After BTECH many students opt for higher studies.

Students become eligible for placements in 4th year 1st sem itself and for that students have to have some given minimum cgpa and least given number of active backlogs. We do get companies for placements from different places and domains. We get placement offers from Luminous, Hindustan petroleum,ICICI,Nvdia,I'm beside you etc. Highest package was 60 lakhs per annum and 16 lakhs is the average package going on. Approx 50 to 65% of the batch gets places by the end of the placements procedure. Once my degree is done,either I would work in a company or would go for further studies of MBA.

From after 6-7th sem students are eligible for placement. Google, Amazon,TCS, mahindra, Zomato, Allen, PW, K12, flipcart , OYO, Etc. A top-notch firm visit the IIT bhilai and take the students. Mostly the placement happened in Delhi, bangalore, hyderabad, Gurgaon, pune, chandigarh and foreign like in japan , Australia, USA etc. In electrical 80-85% students are placed.

The campus placements are so bad . Non company comes for campus interview, out campus is not that much bad also when compared to others. People only go to colleges with high ranking and proper names which are very much famous. The highest average package is 24Lakhs , the lowest is 5lakhs per annum

Placements are not so attractive being a new iit

Companies such as Google, Microsoft, nvidia etc visit campus and take few students . Other companies like Deloitte , air india etc also visit the campus. Highest packages are offered by Accenture Japan ~48 lakh / annum for sde profile and average package is around 12 lpa here . Around 70% of the students get placed. My plans include getting into iim first and then to have a job after mba .

real IIT Bhilai

from 7th sem the students become eligible for college placements and i cannot recall any company that visited and did not make any offer . recently google came to our college for both internship and campus placement . highest placement this season is around 60lpa yet and it might also go up and the avg package is around 1000000 more than 80% of the students that sits in the placement drive gets placed. i am also trying to get placed next year from campus as this is my third year

At IIT Bhilai students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester however one can earn PPO through internships. Many growing startups offer placements here. The highest package goes up to 42LPA with an average of up to 17LPA after my degree I plan to pursue a career in SDE or SWE roles and then continue my studies for research in PhD with the experience gained here
