The semesters contain around 8-9 subjects for every semester blend of 1.5 and 3 credits. The faculty here is good and supportive in the development of the student behaviour and along with the academics. The curriculum is hectic as we know.

1. The course curriculum is designed to help students gain fundamental understanding of the various functional areas of management like, finance, marketing, HR and operations. The difficulty level of the course curriculum is average. 2. The good aspect of the curriculum is that it allows one to get exposed to several crucial concepts of the management which are highly practical in nature. On the other hand, the bad aspect is that most of the curriculum is out dated and not focused on current developments. 3. The courses is divided into 4 semester (2 years). Each semester has 2 exams (minor and major). 4. Each day there are approximately 5-6 classes for the first 2 semesters and then in 3 semester 3 classes each day on an average and in the 4th semester only 2 classes. Timings are usually between (9 AM to 6 PM) from Monday to Friday. 5. The teaching methodology is usually PPT based lectures and sometimes there are case studies discussion. 6. I personally Admire Dr. Vishal Vyas and Dr. Gaurav Aggrawal (both finance faculties). The way they deliver lectures, engage students and teach each concept in depth allows students to gain deeper understanding of the finance domain. 7. Yes, there is a criteria for minimum 75% attendance in all subjects before minor and major exam. In case there is short attendance students need to fill undertaking form and consult with the concerned faculty. If the attendance is very short one will not be allowed to sit for the major exam. (One of my classmates got debarred from the major exam in the 2nd semester for short attendance).

There was 1:1 interaction with the teachers about anything and seniors were very helpful

The faculty to student ratio was around 1:15 , and faculty was very approacable, we cam directly go to the director solve our queries, Vikrant Kaushal was the HOD of the Tourism subject , and I have learnt from him, Arpita Ghosh ma'am was not liking to explain the projects within her subject , I missed the basic foundation of that subject, and In every term there was around 8 subjects.

Faculties are very supportive having vast knowledge and experience of their respective domains. They can be easily approached outside the classrooms and will help in every way possible. They even provide support in getting live projects. Grading system is also very good and student are judged not only on the basis of exams but also class participation projects and quizes.

The faculty-to-student ratio is around 30:1 to 60:1; it depends on the year and the course you opt for in the second year. Faculties are usually very down-to-earth and very, very approachable. And especially the faculties in Marketing, Finance and HR departments.

Journey at IIM Sirmaur

The faculty at Indian institute of management is really good

The faculty provided by Indian Institute of management is top notch. One thing they make sure is to take very high profile faculty. The course structure is of 6 terms, each term is of 3 months. There is also an internship of 2 months which has to be done by everyone. The exams are taken 2 times within one term. So all in all there are total 12 exams for 6 terms.

Life at IIM Sirmaur

The faculty is quite knowledgeable and learned. Practical aspects of subjects are taught.

The class size is approx 50-60 students which helps the students and faculties to interact with each other individually. The faculty delivers the course content in a very effective way and through practical approach. Also, the faculty is available yo help the student outside the classroom.

Exploring IIM Sirmaur

There are around 60 students in each section. So the class size is limited. Also, IIM Sirmaur is hiring more and more faculties to make the education better. The faculties are available for students and students can interact with them any time.
