The Himalayan Institute of Management, Sirmour was established in 2007. Himalayan Institute of Management is one of the most prestigious institutes in the field of management education. It is a self-financed institute and promoted by Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions. The institute is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Government of Karnataka. The college offers Master of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Business Administration course.
The institute uses latest technological tools as OHP, LCD Projectors etc. for imparting education to the students. The students are exposed to guest lectures by experts in various fields and have regular interaction with industry through industrial visits etc.
