Location was great near to Dehradun and transportation was easy for us
In campus I have made very good connections, great learning was there, and exposure

Dislikes

Infrastructure , we were in temporary campus
Connectivity was missing because hostels were far from the campus

IIM Kashipur , IIM Vishakhapatnum, IIM Jammu and IIT Guwhati , and I got selected in IIM Sirmaur and IIT Guwhati and rest of other colleges i was waitlisted. and got recected from IIFT delhi and TISS Mumbai

IIM Sirmaur

I liked the different experienced faculty we had.
The new campus is amazing woth a lot of facilities.

Food is not good in mess and not many options to order
It is secluded and far from any major city.

The biggest motivation to join the college was its less fee structure and the fact that it was an IIM. My decision was also finalized once we had a meeting with our director sir. The curriculum is also very good.

Journey at IIM Sirmaur

The faculty at Indian institute of management is really good
The institute has now have a permanent campus, which is huge

At my time, there was no permanent campus. Although they have it now.
The city is not well developed, so you might have to travel a bit to get things.

I chose this college because of the location, i also cleared 4 other IIMs but was excited to join himalayan iim. The admission process involved, aptitude test which is CAT. And after clearing the cutoff there was personal interview.

Life at IIM Sirmaur

The faculty is quite knowledgeable and learned. Practical aspects of subjects are taught.
The infrastructure of the Institute is very good. Campus has all the necessary amenities required like library, smart classrooms, hostels, mess etc.

The admission is offered in an MBA in IIM Sirmaur is through CAT Exam. The level of exam is moderate to difficult and is conducted once a year. The application fees is approx 1500 and the form is opened in the month of july-august.

The institute is doing fairly good in placements and improving each year
The institute has various clubs and committees which students can join. The clubs and committees are responsible for organizing various events and manage the institute

The permanent campus of IIM Sirmaur is getting delayed

The first step is to register for CAT exam and attempt it. Once the sectional and overall cutoff is cleared, the next step is GDPI round which happens through CAP. The institute provides reservation as per government guidelines. After taking into several parameters like diversity, GDPI score, CAT score, etc the final list is released

Campus life at IIM Sirmaur is an experience in itself. It teaches an individual to survive in every kind of situation
Faculty and teaching methodologies at IIM sirmaur are really good

Eligibility- CAT exam Apllication form is available online along with the other details After the CAT results are out, the candidate is required to check for the institutes they have cleared the cutoffs for and further apply for the same. The candidate will the get an interview call from the institute.

Overall, the college is a great deal and it also helps in personality development of its students.

The faculty of IIM Sirmaur is really up to the mark and provide great knowledge regarding the course.
The learning which you get from the peers adds more to one's knowledge and experience.

The college is very far away from major cities which makes it difficult for one to commute.
Being in small town on Paonta Sahib, City do not offers much of an experience.

The first step of the admission process includes a Common admission test (CAT). There are different cutoffs for different colleges. One gets shortlisted for an interview based on several criteria including CAT percentile, Graduation scores, Work experience etc. After getting shortlisted an interview is conducted. Finally a total score is evaluated which gets you to the college.

Honest Review of IIM Sirmaur

The institute is really focusing on placements and is doing well in it, considering the market situation and the new generational IIM.
Faculties are really supportive here and go at lengths to support students, be it in case competitions or academics.

The permanent campus is really taking time to get built and sometimes it becomes difficult to travel between the hostel and the academic buildings, kills a lot of time.
Since the institute in a small town called Paonta Sahib, it becomes difficult to avail advanced medical facilities. Also the city has very less to offer in terms of good experience.

One has to have a mandatory bachelor's degree. Then if you want admission in the institute then one has to give CAT entrance exam as well in which I scored 94 percentile, however, I believe in my cutoff year , the minimum percentile needed was 92%

Life at Himanyan IIM

Campus life is the one thing I like the most because it's different what it experienced in our undergraduate it's engaging and serious and more practical we have lots of assignments with deadline on the same day EOD when we all do our best
Clubs and committee as IIM sirmaur is student driven compus. So the culture here is very good and supportive.

IIM has temporary campus so it's small in comparison to other IIMs and it's original permanent campus which they are about to shift
Library facilities is the another thing that I disliked because it doesn't have enough space and resources which we need for MBA course.

I was based CAT entrence exam, as I scored 92 percentile in my CAT exam i received call from different IIMs like IIM Ranchi, IIM Raipur, IIM Amritsar, IIM Sirmaur etc. and CAP is a admission process which has 9 new IIMs and baby IIMs in it. So I got selected as a ST candidate in the CAP process and then I had a personal interview through Online mode which was a basic admission as in tell me something about yourself and why you want to pursue MBA etc. then I got call from IIM simraur. They said me a admission form with all the details with admission fees of 50000 for accepting a seat and and at the reporting time my documents were verified by the institute.
