CU South Bihar BALLB {Hons.} : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is through the Central Universities Combined Entrance Test (CUCET). Previously, students needed to clear the CUSBET and an interview, but now only the CUCET is required. The exam covers general knowledge, mathematics, English, and qualitative analysis. Once candidates pass this test, they undergo a counseling process for selection. Established in 2009, CUSB is popular for its affordable fees, experienced faculty, and robust academic programs, particularly in law.

The law department has 13 Ph.D. holders among its nearly 12 faculty members, and they maintain a 1:30 faculty-to-student ratio for personalized mentoring. The fee for the law program is Rs. 7,000 per semester, with an initial payment of Rs. 11,000. Though the hostel fee is considered high, numerous scholarships are available. The placement services for the B.A.LL.B. department are improving, with a new placement cell working to invite more companies. The highest salary package currently is 7 LPA, and Wipro has shown interest with offers between 5 to 7 LPA.

Internships are mandatory, with opportunities at top legal firms. Scholarships include a Merit Cum Means Scholarship and others based on attendance and academic performance. Hostel fees are Rs. 9,000 per semester, with additional mess fees, totaling approximately Rs. 50,000 annually. CUSB's fee structure is stable, and it offers various scholarships but no reservation-based fee waivers.
