Campus Life

The experience in the university is enjoyable and fun as well as usefull. There are many festivals celebrated because of various students from various regions are presented.some majorly celebrated festivals are onam, diwali, dussehra, pongal, christmas, new year, and much more cultural festivals. The library here are some best collections you can find they have all type of genre and they also provide e services. They have enough facilities in the classroom for teaching they have smart boards and benches, still there is a need for improvement in the classroom. There is both outdoor stadium and an indoor stadium presented Be aware of political institutions inside the campus by the students. They try to involve you into their political agendas, they do protests and much more often impacts their studies.

Faculty

In my class there are 70 students from various major and one common course and we have 3 teachers for that one common course which contains three papers. In my history department there is a professor called ruman Banerjee he is good and gives important to practical learning and execution he takes us to field sites and help us understand the subject more clearly. There is a professor called luv (in tamil) his english is so bad students have difficulties to understand what he is saying. In a year there are 2 semester each having four papers 2 from major and 2 from ITEP. On a average 3-5 students have difficulties clearing the paper. The course curriculum covers practical theories and essential skills for us to survive in the domain.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course provides a degree with B.Ed at the same time in a 4 year time period with a very relevant and effective curriculum. When the degree only is now 4 years we will get a dual degree by doing this course and while doing it in a Central University it will increase the chances of getting a more good job opportunities and a great experience. The first three years of the curriculum mainly focuses of the degree program while adding some educational content and courses in between them and also on the last year of the program the student will get at chance for internship at the nearby schools as teachers from the standard 9 to 12. The teaching methods dot are really new and fresh while compare to other teacher education courses but the courses still in a infant stage as several developments are currently starting to occur in the course. Central University Of Kerala is one of the best university providing this course in a very active manner. Most of the faculties have a national and international level experience and their subjects and even the temporary staffs are selected with a really effective way of selection. The course is neither too easy but nor much difficult. Yesterday who can score a good marks in ncet examination can complete the schools which great CGPA. Every some examinations happen in 6 months and within the first three months the Indian exams will also happen which is a reasonable amount of time period for students to prepare for the examination and teachers are really helpful why preparing the examinations did you enough questions to study and the better in your respective course.

Faculty

There is approximately 15 faculties for 300 students in itep. Most of the faculties are friendly and approachable. But some faculties have some small small issues. Some faculties i liked are sooraj(malayalam), sangamithra (english), biju(history), bindu(education), saba anees(education), najela(english), venkanna (chemistry )etc.. These faculties are really helpful and friendly.. Some faculties for chemistry politics and english is just not great but ok. The course is really new and fresh. There are 8 semesters. In first 4 you have to score out of 600 each and last 4 out of 500 each. Total 4400 marks in 8 semesters. In initial 4 semesters 320 marks external and 240 marks internal... Next 4 semester 300 marks external, 200 marks internal. Out of 150 students only 5-6% of students fail in exams. The curriculum mainly focus on degree with b ed for preparing the students to be great teachers. The faculties provides enough opportunities for students to make themselves better. Several opportunities in study related and extra curriculum activities are also included. Some teachers just come to show slides and read while some makes us realize what is the depth of topics and subjects. Even though the building is oldest in university it now has every basic facilities and teachers are using all those facilities as much as possible. In short most of the classes are great and good while some remains average and below average quality. But overall we will get a very good experience from the side of course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees structure is around 50000 and it is increasing per year by margins of 1-2k My previous seniors had payed just 46k in starting of their course so as to say its increasing always Fees for all categories are the same as per my knowledge as its a semi private college Scholarships are available to the top scorer each year for about 50% fees reduction And about 100% scholarship for students good in sports

Course Curriculum Overview

The course saves us 1 year of college because of the integrations of b.ed for anyone who wants to persue teaching as a career in the future, The curriculum is good enough to prepare u for the real world The course can be a bit exhausting because you have to study basically two courses at once The exams difficultly level is mostly on the easy side and and the frequency of exams is 4 exams per year 2 finals and 2 MSTs

Some teachers are approachable while some are very rude. Registrar is also very rude. 6-7 exams are there maximum. Many students fail too. Some are even debarred. curriculum is just textbook study and doing assignments with no practical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good but very less participation since there are no specific clubs . The curriculum is not that helpful in real world. Exams ar conducted fairly and the difficulty level depends on the students whether they study or not.

Talking about her course Ba.B.ed we have 6 faculties in total including aur HOD. The majority of the faculties are clearly very very approachable sweet and are probelm solving.. But there are 1 or 2 not at all approachable..even there teaching methods is restricted till dictating whatever has to be taught form the laptop or phone ..and assumes that there work is over.. these 1 or 2 do not look into the matters when told that we the children are facing such problems from you.. Talking about our HOD ..Our HOD is very very approachable..He makes sure what ever probelms comes our way he sorts it out..listens to us if we are facing any issues. And honestly is one of the best teacher of the department even when it comes to teaching.. He is calm , composed and handles everything with positivity and gentleness.

Course Curriculum Overview

The main aspect are I am preparing for the govt. Jobs and mainly in teaching filed so that's why I need b.ed.. A good curriculum should effectively prepare students for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits by providing a strong foundation in relevant knowledge, practical skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to adapt to new situations. There many improvements like use technology ,Use active learning strategies,Make sure information is up-to-date,Promote handwritten notes etc ...

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio of this college approx 7:9 because some improvements make much better this ratio. Mostly the hod of geography mr. Rajveer sir because he is a unique personality and the teaching style is very nice and very socialist person. I don't like the hod of history mrs.sunita ma'am because of their attitude and she never explain again things . There are 2 types of exam mainly first semester and second semester as compared to second first semester is easy . Aprrox 85-90% students pass the exam .

Course Curriculum Overview

There are some aspects which the curriculum influenced me to decide to take this course is for teacher training program which is further removed from the curriculum but for our batch are courses like BA b.Ed or BSc bed so there is if flexibility in the curriculum so that we can choose our field for further higher studies.... Also curriculum has developed with multi disciplinary approach where each subject or discipline is interconnected with each other.... According to my course curriculum also prepares us from rote learning or rote memorization real to world application and practical base learning which also includes the student centred approach. There is not any suggestions for improvement but in my opinion teaching method must be approachable to students and changes or updation must be there according to generation to generation Other frequency and time of exams are good and difficulty level I have already wrote that there are some students like average below average medium and advance learner so the paper includes all the levels of learning

Campus Life

In my college Manav Rachna University also conducted many annual and technical festivals along with months like Diwali mela convocation festival, fests, Dandiya night, orientation program etc. The range and accessibility of books and generals as per my knowledge they have many government exam related books also they have NCERT and many other courses books they have in their library.. If we're talking about extra curricular activities and sports my college also conducted many inter University tournaments within the Manav Rachna University and also they held North zone in places like Dehradun kurukshetra etc. Also in terms of extra curricular activities we have creating minds which consists of group of people where individuals can join that a club and they can improve or they can express their ideas to leaders.... My University has different different society's like dance music Athelites tech soul gaming society etc On the other hand they are many clubs like mrcps which is Manav Rachna centre for peace and sustainability

Ques. How is life at JNU for MA students? Is it only hectic or do students have fun too?

● Top Answer By Akriti Banerjee on 04 Jul 23

Ans. My friend pursued his M.A. from JNU and according to him, he spent the best years of his life at JNU. He went to many well-renowned colleges and universities in the USA, however, JNU is unparalleled. At JNU, you will learn even when you are having fun. Female students feel safe on campus. Male students are respectful towards their female counterparts. There are no whistles or cat-calling incidents on campus. Females can walk fearlessly from one end of the campus to the other, even at midnight.  Life for M.A. students is very hectic at JNU. It is more challenging than one can expect. If you do not maintain a healthy work-life balance, you will end up spending all your time sitting in a corner with your laptop and books. Even your group discussions will end up being solely about studies. If you feel that it will be difficult for you to create a healthy balance between studies and enjoyment, you can join JNU as a Ph.D. student rather than as an M.A. student, you will then get more time to enjoy and experience life at JNU.Read more

Ques. Can I apply for LLB after graduating B.A through IGNOU correspondence study?

● Top Answer By Devraj Mehta on 03 Nov 22

Ans. The eligibility criteria for various universities vary. Because IGNOU is a recognized university, you can certainly apply for admission to pursue LLB if you take the CET. The Bar Council of India does not recognize law degree programs completed through distance education, so IGNOU does not offer 3-year LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, or LLM programs. It should be noted that no entrance exam is required for IGNOU law programs (except for Ph.D. in Law). Candidates must simply register for IGNOU law programs by completing the application form and submitting their application fee, as well as the course fee.Read more

Ques. What is BPP from IGNOU?

● Top Answer By Alok Thakkar on 21 Oct 22

Ans. The full form of BPP is Bachelor Preparatory Programme. Some important details of the course are as follows: Maximum duration  6 months Minimum duration 2 years Course fees INR 1000 Minimum age 18 years Maximum age No limit  The best part about the program is that it is eligible for almost everyone. Ques. Is there a semester system in IGNOU for BA courses?

● Top Answer By Anil Karki on 28 Oct 22

Ans. No, there is no semester system in IGNOU for BA courses. In IGNOU students are enrolled in two cycles (January and June). The submission of assignments and TEE (Term End Examination) is scheduled once a year. Although assignments can be submitted only once a year, there is a high chance that if you fail to appear in May or December TEE, you can appear for that particular subject on another cycle. For example, you enrolled in this course in 2021. If you wish to appear for June 2022 TEE, you are required to submit the assignments by March 30 2022. If you fail to appear or pass the TEE, you can appear for the same exam in December 2022.Read more

Ques. Is it a good idea to graduate from IGNOU while simultaneously preparing for UPSC CSE? Exactly how tough is it to get a BA degree from IGNOU?

● Top Answer By Saurabh Mishra on 10 Nov 20

Ans. Indira Gandhi National Open University is a public university approved by NCTE and AICTE. It offers a number of open learning programs and is well known and recognized among a number of different organizations like the Association of Indian Universities, therefore, doing a B.A. degree from here is a good choice. The following points highlight important aspects of obtaining a B.A degree from the institute. Academics: The BA degrees at IGNOU offer a wide variety of core disciplines in subjects like Economics, Sociology, and Public Administration with a lot of the course work overlapping with UPSC preparations. The exams for the coursework are also designed such that they benefit the student if they are appearing for other exams like UPSC. IGNOU is known for its well-founded courses that ensure the best interests of the student. Depending on if one plans to choose a distance learning or open course degree, one can choose to appear for UPSC. BA degree from IGNOU: Obtaining a BA degree from the university depends upon if you are a part-time student at the institute or committed to full-time study. The former situation might be a little tough on the student. Students are continuously evaluated with assignments, marks from which are counted for the final result. Assignments carry a weightage of 30% of the total result. Students are barred from appearing for end term examinations if they miss an assignment. The major evaluation component is the term-end evaluation system which carries a total of 70% weightage. These exams are conducted twice a year. Students are expected to study from the course material provided and answer accordingly to the point. Most importantly, ensure that one is registered for the exam, failing which results are not declared. In conclusion, you can definitely prepare for the UPSC CSE at the same time as your BA degree. While it is not very tough to clear the BA degree, a habit of regular study will definitely help one obtain it with a good result.Read more
