Likes
- As a Central University, it maintains high academic standards and receives direct funding from the Government of India.
- The university has well-maintained hostels for both boys and girls.Offers modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, sports facilities, and medical care.
- Recognized for research excellence, especially in science, law, and social sciences.
Dislikes
- Although the university has a large and beautiful campus, some buildings, hostels, and classrooms need better maintenance and renovation. Old hostels and academic blocks require upgrades to match modern standards.
- Many students and faculty complain about slow administrative processes, including exam result delays, admission procedures, and certificate issuance.
- Placement opportunities are limited, especially for general courses like Arts and Sciences. Compared to IITs, NITs, and private universities, corporate tie-ups and internship opportunities are not as strong.
Course Curriculum Overview
So basically i am from education department and i pursue course for becoming teacher and according to that my course curriculum is very flexible and dynamic. Through curriculum we knows about the students their background about teaching which helps us in future for facing real problems
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly wise fee of my course is approxed 10000. In my college the fee also based on the category to which you belong like sc st give less fee. In my college there are so much scholarship are there which provides by college.
Admission
So the first thing that why i choose this college is the course i want basically the course that i want is only available in two Central University and it is one of them so it obvious i choose this because it is the oldest university of Madhya Pradesh and with the same time central university also. So i give the exam to get admission in this college called ITEP NCET after that college release merit list and then student come with the documents and get admission according to cutoff
Faculty
The faculties members are very nice and cooperative basically are teachers are the best teachers we like I am from the education department and the Teachers of that also cooperative and very nice behaviour they have the teachers was very bad we have a regular classes and regular exams also the faculty is that I like in my department also many like Abhishek sir, Dharmendr sir Aparna mam Shiv Shankar sir and so many. There are regular exams are conducted which is semester wise like in a semester first we have mid 1 and mid 2 of 20-20 marks then the end semester held of 60 marks. The level of exams according to me is not that much high if you study then you can easily clear that
Night Life
The nightlife at Dr. Harisingh Gour University (DHSGU) and in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, is relatively quiet and limited, as it is not a metropolitan city or a student Students often gather in hostel common rooms, mess areas, or open spaces for group discussions, music sessions
