Babulal Tarabai Institute of Research and Technology (BTIRT) is a private engineering college located at Sironja in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. It was established by Little Star Educational Society, Sagar in 2008. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technological University Bhopal.

• College offers undergraduate degree in engineering in five disciplines, a MBA program and MCA program.
• All the courses are approved by AICTE and DTE Govt. of MP. It is also an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution

Admission Procedure:

• Admissions to undergraduate and post graduate courses are governed by DTE, Govt. of MP through entrance exam
• After the entrance examination DTE organizes off campus counseling session for the allotment of seats.

Placement: BTIRT has a well-functioning training and placement cell which organizes continuous training sessions, industrial visits and on campus placement drives for BTIRT students. Some of the main recruiters that has collaboration for placement with the college are- Airtel, Concierge Technologies, JIBJIT, Sonalika International, Dreamz –I etc.

Facilities: BTIRT provides all the necessary facilities to the engineering students. Some of them are mentioned below-

• Library:  Large number of books, periodicals, video cassettes and CD-ROMs are available in the BTIRT library. The library is fully computerized and CDNET facilities are to be developed very soon.  Library has also been subscribed to access all AICT approved journals and magazines.
• Hostels: BTIRT provides girls’ hostel with accommodation capacity of 40 students, all rooms are well furnished and provided all the basic requirements of pro education environment. The hostel is having 24/7 internet facility with computers.

Scholarship: The College provides following scholarships to the eligible students-

• Government of MP Scholarships
• BTIRT Special Scholarships (Adhoc merit grants).
