- Ravenshaw Radio ; it provides various opportunities and helps to learn and discuss about various issues with respected individuals.
- Yoga Classes and various sports activities are there which helps an individual to be healthy and to discover his/her passion towards a particular sport.
- The campus is very greenery and big . Basically we can say Ravenshaw University has a peaceful environment.
Dislikes
- The security system of Ravenshaw University is not that good and non college students are allowed in the campus for which a little disturbance also occurs.
- Political ideology clashes can be seen in the campus as there are various student party wings are present in the campus.
- Student elections are not been held for which there is no one to represent the voices of students.
Course Curriculum Overview
In 4th year ( Ba.Bed ); we students are been send by the department for various study tours and internship to gain practical knowledge. The curriculum is designed in a way that it helps a student to have knowledge over various dynamic issues .
Internships Opportunities
Our department offers internship in schools like KV , Government schools for teaching ( B.Ed). They also provide intership in NGOs like Bakul Foundation etc. Various projects are also provided like site visits , social campaign.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees for BA.Bed is 45,620 [ General ] Tuition fee is only 45000 and by adding other fees it makes 620. One must score above 90% in 12th class to get admission into BA.Bed course. The seat breakup for every honours is 10 seats including General , Sc/St and PWD
Campus Life
Ravenshaw University's library and Arts Block has been declared as heritage . The library of Ravenshaw University has also Braille cell . Various cultural functions and hostel functions also take place . The cultural functions mainly start from the month of December . FOR EXAMPLE : Nua-Khai Bhetgat , Sports Meet etc .
Admission
Through cuet I had got into many colleges like Du , Bhu . Although they are central universities but they do not offer integrated B.ed course for which I got admission into Ravenshaw University . In ravenshaw the admission procedure is merit based.And in Pol science the cutoff goes the highest i.e minimum 90%.
Faculty
Faculties in Ravenshaw have great knowledge both contextual and curriculum. In our Department Political Science most of the professors have completed their education from JNU and Delhi . Various seminars are also conducted by professors to address various social issues. In a year There are 2 semesters and the gap between 2 semesters is 6 months and the questions asked in question are very moderate .
Night Life
The famous hangout places inside college are Cafeteria , Backfield and front lawn. The hostels of Ravenshaw University are very well maintained. The entry timing for Girls hostel is 9pm. Refrigerator and study room facilities are also available. Ravenshaw University has its own Radio , Yogax complex , Gym . It has various societies like drama , dance , film etc . The campus life of a student in Ravenshaw student is very happening.
