I liked to do hardware related jobs and design field So i decided to take electronic and communication Exams are a little bit tough but we get 3,4 days study leave for every exams so their is no difficulty in studying

From S7 onwards campus placements are coming, but mainly software based companies are come looking for the freshers. Only some number of core companies are coming. The max offered package was 10Lpa this year.

Electronics and communication is very good option for a student who is interested about study of signals,radio waves, modes of communication etc. Thats the reason why I choosed the course. The frequency and timing of exams are pretty acurate. The final exams would have a time gap of 3-4 days after every exam .

There is good placement in our college.Oracle,Air India,mrf,mahindra and all.Highest package of last year is about 30-40 lpa and average package is about 4-6lpa.Some students are opting higher studies through gate exam also

I'm interested in electronics based field, so i have choosen this. I'm also interested in doing practicals for it. Such as soldering etc. Talking about the areas of improvement, give more importance to practcials especially on soldering

Third semester onwards campus placements are provided. Oracle, Air india, MRF, Mahindra, Bajaj, Wipro are companies which are frequently given on campus placements. Highest package of last year is 30-40lpa and average package is 6.8lpa.

Since I was interested in technical areas so I chose this college after getting good rank in KEAM EXAMINATION. Here the teaching methods are well and good for each and everyone so that everyone can cope with it.

Placements of my college are comparitively good , it depends upon the year and the students who got placed in last year , companies will come and take peoples who have cgpa comparitively better than others ,

The placement is provided from the college partially. We are eligible from 5th semester towards it's preparation. Iam in 4th semester so i do not have much clarity about it. I think only less than 20% chance is there for placement. If not in campus placement we can try it outside the college but it will be a bit harder for us to crack.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
