What Students Say

Likes

The first thing like about the college is the atmosphere of the Collage.
The cultural & tech fest of the collage called brahma .
The classrooms are provided with centralized AC and wifi.

Dislikes

The faculty members should be more friendly .
The classes would be even arranged on second saturdays.
Minimal number of programs for the entertainment of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and communication is very good option for a student who is interested about study of signals,radio waves, modes of communication etc. Thats the reason why I choosed the course. The frequency and timing of exams are pretty acurate. The final exams would have a time gap of 3-4 days after every exam .

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admission their by merit quota. The fees for merit quota was 75000 per yr. But due to my good grades in the 12th exam. I got a scholarship Which worth 56,300 per year. If your kid got admitted by management seat you dont need to worry they would also get scholarship according to their marks. But remember the scholarship becomes invalid if you get a single supply during that 4 years.

Campus Life

Sports and arts day are that much focused here. The collage authority doesn't care about those. That would be held just as ritual. Maybe it would conducted around the month october /november. The only event held at the collage or the main thing attracted me is the biggest cultural and tech event titiled 'Brahma'. Held during the month february /march. Nss is the only active or entertaining club around. IEEE ,GDSC all are good clubs for skill development.

Admission

I attempted KEAM examination which I only managed to get 21k as rank .But I got admission by merit for the ECE department. The faculty would discuss you all the details during the admission process. Specific time would be alloted for each departments.

The faculty to student ratio is kinda moderate. The tutors are not that much nice towards first years But gradually they would be like a family for us. The faculty members are really experienced and efficient in the field of teaching. But specific tutors need to improve by their on.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

I've heard that our college provide better placements compared to other colleges and the campus life is almost good so I choose this college. The Experience of Teenager to an adult

Inorder to get admission for engineering course you must have atleast 10 marks for keam entrance exam.(if you are a nri student,the cutoff doesn't really matter). The admission process was nice. First you have to register for keam exam for admission in colleges in kerala. Then after the results of this exam,you will get your rank.
