What Students Say

Likes

I like the campus infrastructure and also the teachers and very friendly .
The labs and classroom are good. It is very nice to sit in the class .
The tech fest was wonderful. I was very happy to participate in it.

Dislikes

The college has less celebrations and all. The main event is tech fest called brahma and nothing after that.
The classrooms are very hot during summer.
There are lot of extra works which we can't manage to do in time.

Course Curriculum Overview

From my childhood onwards i was keen on to become a game developer. I play many games and also like to play it . So I chose to opt for btech. The curriculum should be improved by removing certain unwanted subjects and adding more subjects based on my field of study.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I never went for internship but there are lot of intership offers coming to college. Main intership include web development and software development. You can go to intership after 2nd sem. But you will get good intership after that.

Placement Experience

We have less campus placement. From 3rd year onwards students get placements. Infosys, TCS, etc are the main companies to come to our college. I would like to start a startup after graduation based on my field of study.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year I have to pay 72000 Rs and for the rest 52000 rs. If I get supply then it will be 72000 for every year. I get 20000 as a scholarship for higher grade in higher secondary education. For management it is 150000 rs .

Campus Life

We only have one main fest called BRAHMA. We have a simple onam and Christmas celebration. The classrooms don't have much technologies it simply have a projector and a board. Some classes have AC. We have CSI, IEDC, GDC Science club, maths club, grievance cell, wellness clinic etc.

Admission

I get a low rank on keam exam so this was the only option i had. I liked to join MA college or Model college but Iwas not able to join because of my rank. The admission process was very simple and we also had a 10 day induction programme.

Faculty

There are atleast 10 faculty members for 68 students. Also 4 lab staffs who help us during our lab periods and workshops. I almost like every faculty as they are sincere and loving and also like us to be improved. There are two internals.

Night Life

There is not night life in college. Even hostellers are not allowed to go out after 6PM. We have a gym but I never seen anybody using it. We have canteen which have awful food and cafeteria which is ok. We go there only sometimes.

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

My College days

Remarks:

I loved my department. But some of the management decisions made bad impacts on students and they hate the college. Faculties were good. As I already said 4 to 5 professors were so good in teaching and rest of them makes the learning experience a nightmare.

I've heard that our college provide better placements compared to other colleges and the campus life is almost good so I choose this college. Mostly students prefer KEAM exam to get admission and cutoff is about 20k. The Experience of Teenager to an adult

Inorder to get admission for engineering course you must have atleast 10 marks for keam entrance exam.(if you are a nri student,the cutoff doesn't really matter). The admission process was nice. First you have to register for keam exam for admission in colleges in kerala. Then after the results of this exam,you will get your rank.
