Likes

Collage life is very good as i have lots of friends here in my collage
Faculties are also very helpful and clear doubts
Placement cell are here so there is chance of getting placed

Dislikes

Hostel food.this is a vegetarian collage so non veg is not allowed
Interships are not given properly have to take outside interships
I didn't like the hostel room as it is very small and sofisticated

Course Curriculum Overview

I haven't seen any specific aspects of the curriculum that influences you as it follows very old syllabus.so nothing much they prepare us to future.every area of our curriculum has to be improved.frequecy of exam are really high we get only 3 months for a sem exam

Internships Opportunities

I didn't get any interships from the collage.i have only did 1 intership which was i have to pay the amount from my pocket which was nearly 1000 from stem robotics company in ernakulam where i learnt about ros operating system

Placement Experience

In our collage mostly other branches like computer science and artificial intelligence courses have more placement chances.they usually get around 5lakh LPA.where we don't get that much placement only 2 students from my senoirs got placed

Fees and Financial Aid

I am studying here as a NRI quota student,which doesn't require any entrance exams.so my fees is annually 170000 for tutuion and 24000 for hostel above that i pay around 3000 per month for food from hostel mess.i have taken no scholarships

Campus Life

There are yearly 2 main events occurs in our collage namely brahma and ashwamedha.one is technical event and other one is cultural event.both the events are really good and enjoyable.sports are also available here we play cricket football,vollyball etc

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is very poor.we get a fan light a desk and a cupboard along with a bed.thats all.food in the mess is really poor as it will be only vegetarian foods available.24000 is the yearly fee for hostel which is too high

Admission

I didn't apply for any other collage.because i did not write any entrace exams.i took admission here in adi shankara through NRI Quota where you need a sponser from outside india.nothing much of a big thing had to do.just pay the amount which is yearly 170000 and show the visa

Faculty

Here we follow apj abdul kalam university.i am studying robotics and automation as it has a very old curriculum where we have to study about very old microcontrollers and all.exams are bit moderate.if you study for study leave you can pass the exams

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. An Emerging student rising from a million opportunity

I applied to MITS, Fisat, and Rajagiri and Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. These were the top 3 collages in my area in the field of CSE. I only got confirmation from Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. Yes i did get rejection from other collages due to my low keam scores. Admission process is simple with keam having priority. Rest of the seats are reserved for management and NRI. I accepted cse exams and curriculum. The Experience of Teenager to an adult

Inorder to get admission for engineering course you must have atleast 10 marks for keam entrance exam.(if you are a nri student,the cutoff doesn't really matter). The admission process was nice. First you have to register for keam exam for admission in colleges in kerala. Then after the results of this exam,you will get your rank.
