The college undergoes the Kalam Technological University curriculum, which teaches irrelevant subjects according to the current market scenario. Computer Science Engineering curriculum is trying to teach the candidate to become a basic software engineer, but that is not enough in this high demanding market. But the core basics are well taught, which are essential for interviews and having a base knowledge. Exams are conducted liberally, and most semester exams would have enough time between each exam. Internal exams conducted by the college are actually rushed, but since only a very few portions would be for the exams, it does'nt matter.

The curriculum is decided by KTU(Kerala Technological University). The curriculum is a bit outdated but the university changes the whole curriculum every once 4 years in order to accommodate the changing industry and career opportunities. The course helps to understand the basics of the respective branches. Even though the exams are a bit tight scheduled, appropriate study leave is given to the students.

I choose this subject because of there are so many government jobs are offering in civil engineering stream. And the curriculum is set by the University and followed by the college is good. One suggestion to improve the teaching methods is too solve pervious year question paper and also provide videos of theoretical portions. And the exam are conducting in a sem with 2 series exams and one endsem exam after completing the sem.

The high placement rate in computer science and engineering branch and impactful curriculum influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum of the course is very effective. It prepares the students for the real-word applications and also for further academic pursuits. Some of the subjects in the curriculum are outdated. Those subjects should be replaced with the new and latest technological subjects such as Machine learning , Artificial Inelligence and IOT. The teachers should also include new teaching methods for better learning experience. The frequency of the exam is twice a year i.e semester-wise. The timings of the exams are according to shifts i.e morning, , afernoon and evening shifts. The level of difficulty of the exams is moderate.
