- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- I liked the nature friendly campus. I had a great time with the nature there. It is located in a hill.
- it provides better placement than compared to the other colleges in Kollam.
- It has better lab facilities as compared to other college in Kollam.

- The location of the college is bad. It is far away from city
- Takes many extra class even during free time.
- There is no private bus facilities to the college. All students have to depend only on the college bus.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

- Social interactions and college environment, campus are nice and good.

- College is not in city so there is transportation difficulties
- Syllabus is wast and time to cover the syllabus is less

The placement trainings are provided from the first semester onwards to improve the performance of the students. Many companies are visiting the college for recruitments. Majority students are placed from the college.

Campus placement is very good comparatively. Top MNCs like cognizant UST IBM Speridian KEC, Kaar tech expiron Zoho are hiring from our campus
nearly 200 offers are there till date on this year. Highest ctc is 8 LPA.

- There is a scarcity of medical area and needs extra beds for the number of people.
- Not able to study for the exams as the timeline is short
- The store doesn’t provide some essentials.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad.
The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

- Supportive and learned faculty, willing to mentor and guide students beyond academics. Faculty members possess expertise and are always approachable, guiding students not just with academics, but also career counselings, placements and project works.
- The campus has an extremely lively environment were students frequently on projects, participate in culture events, and to help each-other to adapt to every academic challenges, creating a truly welcoming and encouraging social atmosphere at college.
- Student-run clubs and cultural clubs, feats like Exodia, Navira, Utsav so on gives everyone a platform to showcase their talents and relax during academic year. Sports, arts, technical activities, and volunteer opportunities ensure key life skilles.
Dislikes
- Hostel accommodation for boys is very limited,which forces many students to look for off campus PGs and rented rooms, this creates inconvenience, affects safety and often adds stress due to distance and extra expense, often offering contaminated food
- Several lab and practical equipments across departments are outdated, which hampers hands on learning and restricts exposure to latest technology trends. Modernization is needed to align with industry requirement and enhance practical understanding .
- Administrative service such as issuing certificates, examine result processing delays and official approvals often are slow and entile repeated follow-ups, creating frustration and delays during important academic transition or final year clearances

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably

- College library is good with well-stocked with huge selection of books,reference books and technical journals which helps for both academic and competitive exams

- The limited hostel accommodation for boys which often forces many to seek off campus PGs or houses
- Some of the infrastructure and lab equipments can feel outdated compared to private institutions
- Administrative processes such ss result, certificates or approvals tend to be slow.
Placement Experience:
The placements here is quite promising particularly for computer science department. Over 70 to 80 percentage seniors secured scholarships.
Major recruiters are firms like Tata , infosys , Wipro , IBM etc.
The highest salary previous year was around 9 lakhs.

Course Curriculum Overview:
When considering the real-world The exams feels much more easy and if u dosent understand the teaching method we can approch alternative online methods and we are aloowed to do that. That makes exam approach much more easy

- very nice cold climate. the college life feels like a vacation. the people here are really nice. teachers are good. hostel food is good
- supports students to conduct events or join events instead of always spending time in class to get real world experience
- good guidance from principals , placement officer and department teachers
Dislikes
- hostel building: the buildings are old and it was'nt maintained well except first years until recently. rooms had graffiti which was done by senior students. thankfully they're doing a good job now
- less girls and more boys , in my class (S7 CSE in the time of writing) there are 12girls and 52 boys. thankfully the male to female ratio is good for juniors.
- there is a building in campus which has been under construction for almost a decade now but they had to stop it mid way. it would've been good if they completed it as the college is planning on adding more departments from this year
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur.
