Special trained faculty is available for research of the intership. We mostly attend intership during our semester break. Mostly the interships are provided from ICT academy at TVM. Proper certificates and grade are provided that helps for the activity points to archive the university protocol.

As part of acedemics, the college allows intership for final year students. Some companies offers stipend but some while other don'. The college provides 2 month period for doing intership. For Mtech students this 2 month period is sheduled during the vaction time

Students normally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (3rd year). TIST has ties with many companies that visit the campus for placement drives every year. Some of the known recruiters include: TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Aspire Systems, Birlasoft, ITC Infotech, South Indian Bank, HTC Global, Schneider Electric, Danfoss, Rikun and others.Highest Package: Up to around ?10 LPA Collegedunia Average Package: Around ?3–4 LPA for many companies. We are offered internship from lifosys, which is an AI software development company for health care solutions. We have given training for AI and full stack development. And we had session with the ceo. We are then assigned to do projects and they short listed the projects and given prizes for the best project.

Campus placement is very good comparatively. Top MNCs like cognizant UST IBM Speridian KEC, Kaar tech expiron Zoho are hiring from our campus nearly 200 offers are there till date on this year. Highest ctc is 8 LPA.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

From S3 we start to get placement training but S3 training is just a small training the tell you the basics and everything but from s5 the campus placement training, they take it seriously and the percentage of students getting placement is low. But because the college is autonomous they say the autonomous batch will have a 50% placement

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

The key paid internship program offered is by Tata Elxsi of stipend around rupees 15000 per month. Some other companies which do not stipends are trizlabs, green method engineering etc.They are designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry readiness. These generally involve applied technology development relevant to company's core business domains.
